Designed for Lippert Solid Step (LC733931 - sold separately), this durable 2-piece step rug set gives you a place to wipe off your feet after a hike on the trails. Heavy-duty bristle fiber material removes dirt and debris easier than standard turf rugs, so there's less sweeping and mopping inside your RV. Hook-and-loop fastening strips provide extra support to keep the rugs snug to your RV Steps.
Quick and Easy Installation
The rugs wrap around your steps and secure with included hook-and-loop fastening strips and springs - no screws, glue, or tools needed. For each rug, the 2 hook-and-loop fastening strips stick to the front edge and top, back portion of the step. Once the rug is aligned and pressed firmly to the step, the springs connect the front and back grommet holes of the rug underneath your RV step, giving you a clean, seamless look. Rugs can quickly be removed for cleaning and easily reattached when you're finished.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Presto Fit black two-piece step rug set for your Lippert solid step RV steps. Now this rug set is going to wrap around each of the two steps on your Lippert solid step RV steps. And as you can see there on your screen, I am including the model number of the steps that I'm using for our demonstration purposes. These are the steps that this rug set is going to fit on, and the width of the steps are 20 and 1/8 inches wide.
And if you will notice here, I have the top step rug installed, but I don't have the bottom step rug installed. I'm gonna walk you through how you will go about installing these. But this material is made of heavy duty UV protected outdoor turf that's gonna be resistant to fading, as well as mold and mildew. And let me give you an overhead view. Maybe you can see that material just a little bit better.
The strong bristle fibers are going to easily remove dirt and debris from your shoes, so that's gonna mean less sweeping and mopping inside of your RV, which is always a good thing. And what's also nice about these is, especially if you're in damp weather, instead of stepping on those metal steps where it could potentially cause you to slip, these are really going to give you a nice grip during inclement weather. Now, when you need to clean these off, it's gonna be very easy. You can just get a hose, spray them down, let them air dry, and they're gonna be good to go. The carpeted design also has an additional benefit of being great for your pets, as it covers those hard metal steps that might potentially scare them off.
Now let me take this rug off and just flip this over here. Hopefully you can get a good view of that. On the flip side of each piece of these, of this rug set is this rubberized back. It's gonna help keep them in place along with some additional methods. As you can see, we have hook and loop fasteners, and then the star of the show are gonna be the springs that's going to provide just enough tension to hold those rugs in place.
Obviously with the hook and loop fasteners, you're gonna peel off that adhesive, peel this film off rather to expose that adhesive backing. And then that's going to allow you to stick those pieces into place. And then they're gonna be able then to just pull off the hook and loop fasteners will detach if you ever need to remove these. Now these springs are steel springs and they're rust resistant because they are zinc plated, so they're very durable. They're gonna hold up really well for you, especially as they're being exposed to the elements. You're not gonna have to worry about them rusting or corroding. And let me go ahead and give you a brief demonstration of how you install these. What I want to do first, since I can't give you a clear view underneath, I just wanna show you what's gonna be going on underneath the step. So what you're going to do underneath that step is hook one end of the spring on one hole and then the other end on the hole that's completely opposite of it. So that's going to connect the two ends of that piece. So that's what I'm going to try to do here for you on this step. So you're just going to, after you put the hook and loop fasteners in place, then you're just gonna follow up with those springs. And this might actually be easier for you if you have the steps raised up. And so I just am just going to go down each of the holes here and I don't really have a clear view. So I'm gonna try to do this by, just kind of by feel, making sure I can match this up. Let's see how successful I am here. So just bring that spring to that next hole. Feels like I got a connection there. I'm gonna come over to the other end here and do the same. So as I mentioned, these springs do provide just enough tension for them to hold into place. And if you do have to remove them, like if you wanted to do a more thorough cleaning, it can be a little bit difficult to unhook the spring. So you might just need a little bit more patience there. But they will be able to detach, the springs rather, will be able to be detached or unhooked so you can remove the pieces if you so desire. We got one last hole here and I think we have it right there. So again, it's going to be easier if you can actually see what's going on there. There we go. We got it into place. Now, even with, even though I don't have that hook and loop, those hook and loop fasteners applied here. Even with that, just the springs holding it in place, you can see that it's not moving at all. So these are not going to move. They're gonna hold really well for you. You can be confident that no matter how much force you put on each of those rugs, they're gonna hold in place. So you're, I didn't need any screws, I didn't need any glue, didn't need any tools. That's gonna be how easy the installation is. Now, if you like what you see here, but you're not too crazy about the color, the good news is we do also have this in brown. Presto fit calls it Buckskin Brown. So on your screen, I do have our item number for the Buckskin Brown version of these. You can take that item number, pop it in the search field of our website, and that will take you to the brown version of this set. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
