Features to know about

Effortless RV Roof Installations: Comprehensive Installation Kit

When you're tackling an RV roof replacement, having all the right components is crucial. The Alpha Systems RV Roof Replacement Installation Kit includes everything from two gallons of adhesive to 15 tubes of self-leveling sealant, non-sag sealants, and six rolls of butyl tape. This setup ensures you have all you need in one package to confidently install your new roof membrane without any last-minute trips to the store.

Weather the Elements with Confidence: White, Weather-Resistant Sealants

Your RV inevitably faces harsh weather conditions, so durability is a must. The white, weather-resistant sealants in this kit not only protect your roof from the elements but are also paintable to maintain your RV's aesthetic appeal. The self-leveling sealant ensures rooftop accessories are securely reinstalled, and the non-sag type holds its shape on vertical surfaces, so no nook is left vulnerable.

Navigate Installation Ease: Versatile Components

RV roofs aren't all made from the same material, but with these components, you're covered. The kit's compatibility with wood, metal, glass, and fiberglass surfaces means you have versatile workability. Plus, the Alphabond tape adheres instantly and seals upon itself, minimizing the hassle of installation while maximizing the roof's integrity.

Reliable Adhesion Every Time: Butyl Tape for Unmatched Grip

Looking for a product that guarantees a firm hold? This package includes six rolls of butyl tape to ensure strong adhesion. With its impressive tensile strength of 4,000 - 5,000 psi, it effectively bonds components while its service temperature range of -20 F to 200 F keeps it versatile in various climates.

Stand Strong Against UV Damage: TPO Facer

Your RV roof is constantly exposed to the sun's damaging rays, but not to worry—the TPO facer in this kit resists UV damage. This added protection extends the life of your roof, so you can enjoy sunny days without concern for wear and tear from UV exposure.

The new roof install went well and we will enjoy our Travel Trailer for many years to come.

Kit has everything you need. I was able to do a 25 ft roof with only 1 gallon of adhesive. Needed 1 1/2 inch wide butyl (putty) tape for my trim. Could use 2 strips of the 3/4 provided with tape leftover. However, I chose to order wider butyl tape to simply the install effort. Installation video on website very thorough and helpful.

Product shipped quickly and wrapped so no damage would happen. Thought the product would be stiffer than it was. The tpo was softer than expected heat welding was tricky in the Florida heat. But I got it done that’s what matters had two roofs to rem and one put on just in time to beat the real heat.

  • Additional Things Needed to Install the Alpha Systems Superflex TPO RV Roof Membrane
The Alpha Systems Superflex TPO RV Roof Membrane # AL62CV is not able to seal on it's own so we'll need to get you some equipment for the installation, and for that I recommend the following kit: - Alpha Systems RV Roof Replacement Installation Kit # AL74UV Using a whole kit like this might seem like a little overkill since you're just replacing the membrane, but more times than not the roof is in worse shape when you get up there, and there are more things to have to replace than initially...

  • Looking To Redo Roof On A 2010 Keystone Passport Ultralite
Hi Christopher, There unfortunately isn't a guide to tell us the exact part numbers for the vents, skylights, etc. on your Passport. We offer a variety of plumbing vents and 12v fan vents but we unfortunately do not offer skylights. If you want to send some pictures and measurements on the plumbing vents in then we can figure out the best replacements, for the 12v fan vent I'd want your opinion on the features you'd prefer for the roof vent. • What is the Thickness of the Alpha Systems Superflex TPO RV Roof Membrane AL65CV?
Hey Bruce! The Alpha Systems Superflex TPO RV Roof Membrane item # AL65CV has a 30 mil thickness or 0.03". It is 10% thicker than pvc roofing and is twice as strong when it comes to resisting tears. Additionally, it's lighter and quite a bit easier to install. A PVC membrane is more energy efficient. I recommend the TPO due to the increased strength, which means less maintenance. It's going to stand up better than PVC with the heat and cold swings in the Midwest. You will also need the...

  • What is the Difference Between TPO and PVC Roof Membrane
The only real difference between the Alpha Systems # AL74UV and the LaSalle Bristol # 3441700534142711440 is that the Alpha Systems is made of TPO which is a bit less flexible than Elvaloy-based PVC that # 3441700534142711440 uses; PVC is going to be a bit more durable and puncture resistant than TPO. Also, the two types of membranes can be used together so you'd be able to use the two at the same time if you wanted.

  • Ratio of Non-Sag and Self Leveling Sealant of Alpha Systems RV Roof Replace Install Kit
The proportions of what comes with the Alpha Systems RV Roof Replacement Installation Kit for Roofs Over 26' # AL74UV was designed based on the same proportions of what you'd use when installing the roof. Self leveling sealant serves the purpose of leveling itself totally flat before curing which is great for on top of the roof whereas the no sag is great for the sides where you want it to hold it's shape after you apply it.

  • Can I Patch My RV Roof Top Membrane Instead Of Replacing It
After speaking with out expert install team I would NOT recommend patching or replacing only part of the membrane. It will just set you up for future leaks and other problems where the seam will be. Since you will have to remove the trim around the unit to fix it anyway, it would be wise to just replace all of it. I'd rather do the job once and not have to redo it again for a long time. If you need to purchase a new membrane kit we have the Alpha Systems Superflex TPO RV Roof Membrane...
