Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Furrion RV power cord adapter with the easy grip handles. The power grip or power cord adapter lets you convert your RV's 50 amp power plug to work with a 30 amp electrical hookup at an RV park. The female plug connects to the 50 amp power inlet on your RV. It does have the threaded collar to ensure a nice, tight, weatherproof connection. Then the male plug is a 90 degree connection, which really helps reduce the amount of strain placed on the connection point. This connects to a 30 amp outlet on an electrical box.
The unit does feature fault smart reverse polarity and neutral loss indicators. These are located on the top of the male plug. Those are just LED indicators.It's a heavy duty marine grade construction. It has the nice easy grip design to it, so you'll notice it has these kind of raised areas over here. That way you can easily get a grip on the unit.
Then on the male plug, it has the nice built in handle for easy handling. It's black in color, and the amperage is 30 amps. Again, this unit converts your 50 amp power plug to work with a 30 amp electrical hookup at an RV park. When it comes to the length measurement or the extension that it offers, I measured from the collar to basically the prongs right here and got a measurement of around 20 inches long.
