Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug. This is a 50 amp male to 50 amp female. The Mighty Cord detachable RV Adapter Plug is for use in adapting 50 amp power for use with 50 amp trailers. This end right here would connect to the power inlet on your RV and the other end would connect to a standard 50 amp power cord. The detachable female receptacle with the locking ring makes hooking up to the RV quick and easy, and then it allows you to easily connect to campground power. The locking ring is a threaded connector that really helps secure the connection point from accidental disconnects.

this should solve the problem of my 50 amp motorhome cord that plugs into the side and puts too much weight on the outlet, I have a 50 amp extension cord that will plug into this and hang. down

Great! Original cord came straight out, put a lot of pressure on side of MH, now I plug a 90° cord to the adapter, problem solved.
I needed an adapter to connect a hard-wired 50A cable leading from my home circuit breaker box to the 50A outlet on my generator for use when we had a power outage. The cable had a different plug than would fit into the generator. This adapter plug connects the two perfectly. It appears to be sturdy and well-made. I couldn't find this adapter anywhere else. The price seemed very reasonable, too.
Product was correct just what i was looking for to use for my 5th wheel. Now i could use my 15 ft 50 amp extension cord to power it up instead of the 30 ft that i got with the trailer. Much lighter and easier to deal with. Thank you etrailer.com!
In most cases our camper is within15 ft. of the power supply. The 50 amp 30 ft. cord is very heavy and awkward. With this adapter I can use my 15 ft. extension cord which is half the weight and a lot less bulky.
Exactly what I needed to use my 15ft non twist lock 50 amp cord. Adapter was 1/4 the cost of paying for a new 50amp extension cord. don’t need to bring my 30ft cord to camp sites now.
Works as described. Only dislike is that when locked in the male prongs don't line up to allow for cord to hang vertical with the ground, it is twisted off to the side slightly.

The plug was just what I needed. It was delivered on time and well packed. I haven’t got to use it yet, but I should be able to put my factory 30’ cord away and just use the 50’ cord needed to reach the Pedestal.

Still working well. I am using it right now at the campground I am in. A great option to help me manage my heavy 50 amp cords.
