Not so much a product review but a review of overall services. In my opinion, it took way too long for these items to be shipped and for me to receive them. Other than that specific issue, I've had no other issues with eTrailer.
Communication was excellent (advised of delay and new delivery date etc.), product as described, best darn packing job I have ever seen! Arrived in excellent condition despite the fact that it was several heavy items. Continued satisfaction from etrailer with multiple purchases thus far.
Just installed the lock and the install was ver y easy. Now we will see if I can forget about chains and locks to secure the propane tanks. I believe you have a super product.

Excellent. I previously restored a 72 airstream and found this product to secure the tanks now I'm re doing another camper and want the same secure tanks. I don't trust my new tanks to be there when I return from the woods. Now I can go off and hunt and have gas when I return. I will always reccomend this product. Simple and effective. Thanks

Had this lock for about a year. It has held up great to weather. Defiantly more secure then any other lock I have found to lock propane tanks. Sure if someone wants them they could get them but they will work for them and others would be easier to take. Very pleased with this lock and would recommend it.
My contact via email with customer service department was a pleseant surprise as they responded quickly and was very helpful. I received the 2 items that were ordered for our travel trailer in a very timely manner.

I took a chance when I ordered it, because I did not even have my new camping trailer yet. In fact it was 500 miles away. Fortunately I ordered the correct size. It fit beautifully (once I read the instructions). I live in an area where they will steal your teeth while you are talking to them. There aren't even enough police to come take a report. Nothing will stop these buggers. The judges let them go without consequences before the ink is even dry on the paperwork.
If it's not clear from the picture, the lock itself in this unit is merely something that keeps the replacement fly-nut assembly from turning freely.
Fly-nut is nice gauge stiff steel with a very nice powder coating. You'd need to really wail on it with a heavy hammer (and at a difficult angle) to bend it enough to defeat the lock. One year in and no rust on either the lock or the fly-nut, great piece of mind and looks sharp with the powder coating too
We had fallen victim to thieves that thought they needed our propane tanks more than we did. So after replacing our tanks, I found this lock setup. This will not stop every thief because it can be cut if they had the time, but it curbs the quick grab. I also like that this lock adds another layer of protection to keep the hold down from loosening up during travel. After having this lock for 1 year already, i still like it and would buy it again.
Simple installation, works great, keeps my tanks and batteries secure. I recommend this item to anyone needing to secure their propane tanks. I made a bracket to secure my batteries and incorporated this lock for security.
I like knowing my tanks are locked-down. Access to the top of my tanks is not adequate for locking to be easy, but I can manage with this setup.
Excellent product. After someone cut my bike cable type security and took a full 30 pound propane tank off of my trailer in 2014 I had to find a better way to secure my tanks. If the rod is threaded on both ends, take the bar apart and two nuts underneath the tank holder bar so no one can unscrew from the bottom. I found that you can get a pair of pliers on the rod and remove it from the bottm as the hole thing will come right out.
This lock is incredibly easy to install. It keeps the tanks secure, and, of course, locks them tightly in place. The only thing that surprised me is that this appears to be a different design than pictured. The handles are bent upward as in the Airstream lock picture....even though the packaging says it's the TLA7702, not the Airstream variety. Regardless, this thing looks, feels, and works great!

The product works like it's supposed to. I feel better knowing that I have a good lock on my propane tanks for when I'm camping or just keeping it stored at home! I ordered the wrong size, had to send it back and ordered the correct size. I spoke with Rebecca and she was great! She took my order over the phone and sent me the UPS label right away! The customer service is really great! I've received my refund for the first order. I would definitely do business with this company again!!!

I am still as pleased with this product as I was a year ago.

The lock was easy to install and secures the dual propane tanks nicely.
Timely delivery. Easy installation.
One note: Raising the regulator caused interference with slam latch. Had to bend bracket as shown in photo. Otherwise good product.
Might be good on some trailers but it did not work on my Grand Design. See photo. Could not get it pushed down far enough to put padlock on before the end potecting the nuts jamed against the upright threaded stock.
Very easy to use and perfect for what it is intended for. Came earlier than expected and good quality. Just make sure you measure correctly not like me, and order the correct size. etrailer customer service was great on helping me return the wrong size and ordering the right one.

It works just as intended. I needed it so that is why I bought it, but after looking a little closer at my setup I could have secured it with some mods of my own and saved the cost. But overall the product is quality and works.

This tank lock has always worked well for me, and I have a better piece of mind knowing they are safer with this lock.
