i want to order the forklift fortress rv propane gas lock for dual tanks. i have no idea if i need 3/8inch or 1/2. i cant find anything to measure it with. help! 2017 forest river flagstaff micro lite 21ds

The threaded rod sizes for the TorkLift Fortress GasLock Kit for Propane Tanks # TLA7701 and # TLA7702 simply refer to the diameter of the vertical propane support rod on your existing setup. You can take a quick measurement on your propane rod and if it has a diameter of 3/8 inches, you will use # TLA7701. If it has a 1/2 inch diameter you will instead use # TLA7702.
For precise measurements, using a digital caliper like # PTW80157 can be very helpful. These are also nice to have around for various other projects as well.
