Video Transcript for Complete Breakdown of the Flair-It PEX 90-Degree Elbow Fitting

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Flare-It PEX 90 degree elbow fitting. Now this elbow is gonna connect two three quarter inch inner diameter pipes or hoses in your RV fresh water plumbing system. This will allow your water to change direction without having to worry about kinking your tubing. This is gonna work with your PEX pipes, the old gray PB pipes and polyvinyl tubing. You can see we do have the three quarter inch barbed connections on both ends and that's going to fit your pipes and hoses again with that three quarter inch inner diameter.

And that barbed connection, combined with the compression end is going to allow you to get this installed without having to use any tools. So basically the way this is gonna work, you're gonna slide that compression fitting on your pipe and then you'll get that barbed in, pushed into the inside of your pipe or hose, and then you'll slide that compression in back and then get it tightened down. So that is going to create a very solid connection. I did that myself the other night, just to see how these work, and I was really impressed, not only how easy it is to get installed by hand but also how secure that connection is. So I was able to tighten it down by hand but then to get it back off, I had to use some vice grips to really get that removed.

So, very strong connection. The one thing I will say is if you're working in a very confined space, under a cabinet or something like that, getting this pushed in place might be a little bit difficult but definitely something that you can do by hand without having to worry about using some tools. This is constructed of a polyoxymethylene so it is going to be very durable and resistant to stress cracking. So it will hold up well for you. So if you are needing to create a 90 degree angle in your freshwater plumbing system, this is gonna be a great way to go.

And this is just one of the many fittings that we have available here at etrailer.com. So if you find yourself needing another fitting to connect different size hoses or something along those lines, be sure to check out our other options. Make sure that you're covered for all of your connections. And that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.

Thanks for watching.

These are the fix for when the factory uses normal PEX fittings on that flexible tubing that is the wrong dia. They fix the leak!

Just like OEM for a 2015 Winnebago View hot water heater bypass valve. E trailer had a great price and quick shipping. Customer service was top notch as well.

This is a great way to connect your vinyl hose to a pex tube. I replaced the factory connection because of a leak that started where an elbow was installed and a pex ring connector was crimped on the vinyl hose. This worked great and is the proper way to repair the factory set up. I have replaced all of the factory crimped connections with these fittings.
