These heavy-duty, aluminum crossbars work with Rhino-Rack legs (sold separately) to create a sturdy roof rack or ladder rack. The square bars include built-in C-channels for mounting Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty, contractor-grade accessories.

I purchased this because I needed 11" brackets and I only needed two to add to my existing setup. Other manufacturers (I could only find one) only sold packs of four at a ridiculously high price. My Rhino Rack mounts and bar arrived within a few days of my order and appear very sturdy and well made. I bought them to add a third support for an awning and a solar shower on the roof of my van. I think I found the perfect solution.
Ok… giving this item four stars as an overall view. The good: it fits a Jeep Wrangler perfectly. With the appropriate legs, it canvases across the entire roof of the Jeep with the legs attaching to the gutters. The bad: just a bit too noisy for my liking, even with the appropriate wind faring (I don’t expect absolute silence since I have a one touch sky top). The noise is not a big deal on short trips, but it was definitely driving my wife and kids nuts on a 2+ hour drive (stick some headphones on the kids, problem fixed)
In the future, I might switch it up from these square rails and go with something a bit more aerodynamic…
We have been very happy with our Rhino Rack system atop our 2018 Chevy Express Van. We carry 2 Kayaks ( sit in style, 14 ft and 12 ft) upside down on the van roof and use some eye bolts and ladder supports with ratchet straps to hold them in place.
It took a while to get them( due to being out of stock) but eTrailer has excellent customer service and kept in touch with us on the order status until they arrived.
Works well on the Ultragroove track system (2018 8' bed 3500HD DRW).
Excellent product. Strong, secure and easy to install. Everyone at etrailer was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Here are some pics of the Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Crossbars - Silver - 50" Long - Qty 2 installed on my 2011 Honda CR-V.
That I recently purchased.
I got the roof rack mounted anyways. Better pics to come when it's all finished!
Great product
I installed them on my 2020 GMC Sierra crew cab on the bed rails to use as a Conor rack, kayak rack bed tent .
Works great !
Thanks to etrailer, I am ready to do some serious summer exploring with my 2013 Mazda 3! Rhino Racks, Malone top box, and Kuat bike rack!
I am normally a exclusive Amazon shopper, but etrailer gives equal or better service and has specialty items you just can't find anywhere else. The pricing is great also. This is my 4th order from them on this project and the response has been perfect and the shipping has been prompt. They even offered to take back an item that I did not need. I desperately wanted to mount my 19ft Kayak on my new RV and with some Rhino RT tracks, a Rhino Nautic kayak lifter, a few really heavy duty rivets, and some ingenuity, I was able to accomplish the task. I am replacing the current Nautic bars with the heavy duty bars. See the attached pictures.
Kit was great, except my SnugTop cover required longer T-Bolts for mounting the tracks. The 1.5 inch ones provided were too short. It was a little tough sourcing T/Bolts that would work. It would have been nice if longer T-Bolts could have been an option from Rhino Rack.
Amazing product. Fit, finish, quality is absolutely amazing!
Have hauled our bikes all over MI, through the UP, and back. They never moved. Rack is super simple to remove from the rails to grant full access to the PU bed.
I think this is one of the Best options out there for taking your bikes with you while still having your covered bed space. I also can install a Ski box for the winter. Ski's in the box while gear in the covered bed.
Nice rack system, strong and durable. Used on a Ford e350 to mount solar panels. Only draw back, one of the L brackets that goes under the rain gutter was not bent square enough and this caused the bracket to slide off when tightened. I had to adjust this with a clamp and hammer, no issues since.
This rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.
Order is lost. Only received half of it. Tape your boxes together like you did on previous orders.
Our bars did not arrive. It only takes three days to ship to Anchorage Alaska from anywhere CONUS.
The heavy duty rhino-racks are very well built. There is wind noise. That can be muffled some by using uni-stut closure strips. Uni-strut fasteners fit on both the top and bottom of these bars making it nice for building your own custom tie down and attachment points
Love the roof rack! Works great for ka yaks!
This works great. Very strong and reliable. Holds my ladders with ease. I’ve had it loaded down and done 80mph on the highway no problem.
These are the perfect racks for a low profile mounting of solar panels on my Sprinter van.

Hi Mike, I was researching roof racks for my 2013, 170 tall Sprinter Van ordered and I came across your post. I have a Yakima rack that I had on my old BMW that I was thinking of using until I saw your post. Did you install your own rack and solar panels? I was thinking of paying a local RV custom place, near here, to do all this work, but Im leaning to doing a lot of it myself. If you installed all the gear on top of your van, I have a bunch of questions:1 Ive order factory roof rails for my Sprinter, did you simply place the Rhino tracks inside the rail grooves and how did you bolt them down?2 What are the other accessories I see on top: Fan, Solar panels make$, A/C, Sat? Did you install all yourself, if so, was it difficult?3 Awning: What type and difficulty/cost of installation? 4 What are small devices on roof: white knob type device right lower on picOn left side of pic, front to back: white, flush 6disc, black protruding 6 knob, 6 flush, black, controller type box. Again, if you didnt install, who did and a what cost? Thxs for your patience!Joe
