Today we're going to be taking a look at the round cross-bar for Yakima roof rack systems. This multi-purpose crossbar is going to supply the backbone for your aftermarket roof rack system. The bar provides stability to your roof-mounted racks and allows you to carry the accessories that secure your gear. A round bar roof rack system is going to be great for bike racks, water sport carriers, roof baskets and boxes, and much more.

The round style bar will accept accessories that clamp or strap around the bar. It's constructed of a vinyl-coated, galvanized steel so the bar itself is very strong and durable as well as rust and corrosion resistant. That nice vinyl coating provides slip resistance for your gear and keeps the bar protected. Now one bar is included. The diameter is 1 1/8 of an inch with a steel wall thickness of .085 inches.
