Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Thule replacement lock cylinder and premium key. This is going to replace the lock cylinder and premium key for your Thule one key system. And on this key, hopefully you can see this is key number N234 stamped right there on the shank of the key, N234. And so this is going to include one premium key and then one lock cylinder and or lock core rather.
This is the direct replacement from Thule so you can trust that this is going to work just like the original. If you're using this as a replacement, you're not gonna have to worry about fitment or compatibility issues or anything like that. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I would have given this five stars, but Thule requires a dummy key in order to install the lock. It should have been included and was not. It has to be ordered separately, which is a pain. And I had to figure that out by googling and looking on the Thule site. Other than that inconvenience, the order contained exactly what I expected.

I needed a lock and key for the replacement arm on my Thule. This came with ONE key, number N217. While at the locksmith ready to make a duplicate key, the locksmith instead re-keyed the N217 to be the same as the other key that fits my original Thule hitch. Very satisfied. Glad to have only one key for all my Thule locks.

Received the lock and key that currently fits my Thule key but when I inserted the lock into the long arm slot, it won't release the lock to free wheell. Not sure if I inserted the lock the correct way but seemed to fit. Any suggestions??
