Question:

I need to replace the rubber strip on the top of my Thule rack which is sold via Subaru as SOA567X060 to fit the crosstrek hybrid. It looks like Wingbar Evo — but the the replacment strips I see don’t have the diagonal pattern that mine does. Can you hlep me find the right replacement strip?

Hey Elizabeth!

I found online that Subaru Crosstreks from 2019-2023 used SOA567X060, which correlates to Thule 47" Aeroblade crossbars, which is Thule's part number ARB47. Unfortunately, this product has been discontinued, but we do still have some replacement parts for it, including Replacement Cover Strip with Pattern for Thule AeroBlade Edge Cross Bars - 59" Long # TH69JH which I believe has the diagonal pattern you're looking for. This strip is 59" long, so it'll require some trimming to fit perfectly, but from there you won't have to worry about whistling or wind noise from the crossbars.

What happened to your replacement strips? Is there any damage to your crossbars?

Thanks for your research and help! I will order the strips you suggested. I have no idea what happened to that strip, it’s really puzzling. I didn’t notice until I had taken the cargo box off. One of the endcaps falls out of position often, it was very windy on our long drive. The crossbar itself looks fine.

@JerryB Long road trip, upper Midwest across Canada and down into New England over two days. Seems so unlikely to dislodge, looking at the other one. It’s always possible some joker stole it.

Oh — a followup. what is the part nimber for the bottom channel? those have not stayed well at all. thanks!
