Question:

I’m trying to find replacement rubber strips for my roof bars on my Volvo C30 asking around on the forums I was able find out that these roof bars are essentially Thule wing bar evos. I’ve measured the channel and the top opening is about half an inch and the inner channel width is a little over 3/4 of an inch.

Hey Jacob, thanks for the pics and the measurement. Since your crossbars channel width is 3/4", you'll need the Replacement Cover Strip with Pattern for Thule AeroBlade Edge Cross Bars item # TH69JH. This cover strip measures 59" long.

I've also used these rubber strips in a different brand roof rack, they work better than the ones that came originally. Just note, that if one edge comes loose from the track (like if it got pulled out slightly) the wind can pull the rest of it out and you lose the strip. just keep an eye to make sure they stay tucked in at the edges!

Tell Jacob that I I just had to cut off the excess ( about 4 inches) and it fit nicely. I ordered this product too and had no problems; although be careful that the end caps stay in place because that is how I lost the rubber strip in the first place
