What's up everybody it's A.J. with etrailer.com Today we're gonna be checking out this rubber infill on our Yakima JetStream rooftop bars. Now, this is important because it acts as kind of a cushion. when you put your T-track accessories in there. Still fills in that gap. That way the wind doesn't hit it and make a whistling noise when you have accessories.

You don't have to cut it to length because if it's not there it's going to be really noisy on your roof. So if yours is damaged or something happened to it we're going to show you how to replace it. So get the old one out of there. You can kind of use a trim panel tool like this and it's simply twisted, and then it pops out at the top and you just grab it with your hand and just slowly peel it out of the top. Just like that.

When you get yours, it's going to be 70 inches long. So you're gonna have to cut it down. Now, since ours isn't damaged we're just gonna put the same one back in there. And it also only comes in a quantity of one. So if something happened to both of your bars, and you wanna replace it, you're gonna have to order two of these.

So how we're going to do this just go back to the end again and just feed it in. You want to make sure that the part with the two grooves is at the bottom and you want the flat part here at the top. So you're just gonna go push down on it like that. Almost pinch it and then push it in. It goes in there pretty easily.

Just like that. Once you've done that, you can put the end cap back on. If you have a little bit of overhang, like we do it's okay. The caps will still go over it. Just like that. And you're done. That about does it, thanks for hanging out. And I hope this helped..
