Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Thule replacement cover. This is going to replace one plastic cover for your Thule Tracker II half foot pack or the Thule Tracker roof-rack fit Kit TK2. So if you have either one of those Thule products this is going to be a direct replacement from Thule and it's going to snap into place over your exposed base to help protect the components from the elements so that you're not gonna have to worry about them rusting and that sort of thing. And listening to some of our customers they say that oftentimes these will come off in a carwash or have a tree snag them or something like that.
So it is pretty easy to lose these. So it is nice having a direct replacement from Thule so you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. This will provide a nice, smooth, finished look on your vehicle's roof and make sure that all your elements are being protected or all the components are being protected. So if you aren't needing to replace one, whether it's preemptively before you lose one or if you've already lost one, this is going to be exactly what you need to cover up those roof pack or roof rack thick kit.

Product arrived quickly, and price was acceptable, albeit a little high for what they are. Why Thule did not make these better or more available baffles me greatly. eTrailer.com is the ONLY vendor I was able to find this, thank goodness for them! Like other buyers, I've drill these and run a 1 1/4" screw through and below the Thule logo to secure them. (The screw is below the steel clamp bar so they won't come off until I take the screw out.) Its been a year, and I still wish yhsf Thule had engineered tgese covers to attach more firmly to resist car wash brushes tearing them off, but otherwise, they look good and I like them.
Original perfect fit. I just need to fasten them like in their picture. I do not believe the two I replaced fell off. I think someone took them cause it was the two passenger caps. Never had an issue before. The older two on driver side still fit firm after 6 years.

Unfortunately the product keeps coming off, I don’t know why but I’m not willing to pay to keep replacing them.
Good product. Nice way to finish off your roof rack if you remove the cross bars. Easy to install.
As in all Thule products, they are expensive. My original ones were blown off but this time they are staying put

Product is correct, $21 shipping included for 1 cover?? I thought it was a four pack. This is ludicrous pricing, thank God I only needed one.
I had a difficult time finding these covers, until I found your web site. Very happy with everything.
Correct product for covering tracker 2 feet. Fits, looks nice but doesn’t click into place like you would hope. Seems like it would fall off easily, I wrapped the bottom with quality black tape and am confident it will stay in place.
These are great covers for the TK base. Only issues is they can fall off in the car wash.
Use a 1/4” cotterless pint to make sure they stay on! Easy to install with a 1/4” drill bit. Drill the hole just below the ‘U’ in THULE. See photos below.
The covers are nice in appearance but they don't lock in. I have lost two running my truck through a car wash.
I bought the covers and found they are kind of loose. I installed 1/4" inch screws by 1 1/2" length and drilled holes and tapped it through so they wouldn't fall off. I would have given 5 stars except for how loose they were. You would think thule would come up with a system that wouldn't fall off.
these caps do not clip in like the ones That came with rack you have to put a screw in so you don't loss it... very disappointing for the price I thought I was getting what I had
This item needs to snap, hook or attach somehow. It just fits into the slot. Thus, they just disappear. I tried electrical tape and other solutions, but nothing worked. I expect that I was driving too fast or went through the car wash without thinking about them coming off

Necessary to have but does not hold tight enough. Price is ridiculously high, but I could not find any other source
The Thule roof caps complete the streamlined look of my truck topper when I'm not using the crossbars. Unfortunately, they do not stay on in automatic car washes. If you forget to take them off, they end up in the drains. etrailer has the replacement parts available for less than $2 each compared to almost $5 elsewhere. Even with shipping charges, these were a great deal. As always, etrailer has what you need at a good price, excellent installation videos and fast shipping.

I still have the Thule caps on my truck everyday. I wonder why the sales people where I bought the topper originally told me they dont stay on.
Fast delevery correct cover for my rail
I had lost the caps for my roof rack mounts. with winter approaching I was concerned that ice would form inside the brackets, freeze and crack them. Fortunately I found these simple but useful items were available. Ordering was simple and within a couple of days they arrived.

These covers are great for protecting your mounts when not using your rack. I really like the protection that they afford for little cost. I tend to forget to remove them when pulling into the car wash so I ordered extras this time!!
