Parts for Thule Fit Kit TK8 for Tracker ll Roof Rack on a 2008 Honda CR-V

Question:

I purchased a Thule Tracker II rack system from a private party that is missing the foot bases and the fit kits ?. I have a 2008 Honda CRV that does NOT have a roof rack or track but does have the fixed point attachment areas where I could attach the rack with the right fit kitI think that is what I need. I have been unable to find anything on line that will tell me which kit I should be purchasing- probably because Thule has discontinued this rack style. Can you tell me which one I need and if it is available?

The fit kit that would be associated with the Tracker II feet for a Honda CR-V is the TK8 but it only fits up to 2006 Honda CR-Vs and does not include 2008.

It may be possible to fit it on a 2008 but it hasn't been tested. Some of the TK8 parts are available including the cover, # 853-5701, foot base # 753-2149, washer # 951-0613-12, and hex key # 853-2430-02.

Because this is not a sure fit, I recommend taking a look at the current Thule rack that fits your 2008 Honda CR-V. You would need Rapid Podium foot pack # TH460R, and fit kit # THKIT3042.The recommended bars are the 47 inch SquareBars # TH712200.
