The replacement arm and flange fit perfectly to my Mustee stand alone shower. Better than original OEM one.

I looked locally for a replacement flange arm and the best that I could find was a threaded both ends pipe that was obviously to be connected to a pipe fitting that was secured to a wall. My requirement was for a fitting that can be securely attached to a thin "plastic" shower wall and in turn support the floppy water supply PVC pipe that comes up from the tub tap . The etrailer fitting is an exact duplicate of the leaking fitting I replaced. It was cheaper than anything available locally and delivered quickly. After about 20 minutes of solo work I was able to shower again! 595937

This had a metal nut and when we got it it was very difficult to thread the nut onto the threads. We ran it through a few times and I got a little easier but was still difficult. When we put it in to the wall I had to reach up with tires and couldn't see or feel as we were threading it in and we ended up cross threading it and destroying the plastic. I found another one at a mobile home supply near us that had a plastic finger tighten nut that ended up working much better.3616960

The replacement part assembly came with adjustment nuts that was the main selling point. This part is available at some big box stores but not with the adjustment pieces included.
