Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a quick look at this replacement plain drive head front cover for your Solera Power RV Awnings. Now this is going to replace the front cover of your plain style drive head on your Solera 12 volt electric RV awning. The plain style head includes the Lippert logo as you see here on the front. And if you're facing your awning the drive head is on the right. Now on your screen I do want to show you what the regal head looks like. That has no logo and that Regal head is on the right hand side of your screen.
But the plain head cover that we have here indeed has that Lippert logo. So just so you're aware of the differences there. Now this does include the black front cover only. The back cover is sold separately, but if you are in need of that as well, I am including our item number for that back cover on your screen. You can just take that item number and put it in the search field of our website and it will take you to that back cover.
So you're just going to receive this front cover. No hardware is included with this, and this cover is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace. This is directly from Lippert, so you can trust that it's going to fit right in place of your original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitting it issues or anything like that. So if you are needing to replace the plain style drive head on your Solera 12 volt electric RV awning, this is going to be exactly what you need.

I received the part that I ordered but It’s not the same as the one I thought I found the right parts and reordered them fine. I called to get the information on how to return the part I don’t need. On the phone your CSR said return cost was $XX but she said I could shop around for another provider. When I printed off the UPS return label information, your email didn’t say anything about the option to use another provider so I was unsure if the verbal communication was correct. It cost Me only $XX to have it shipped, why are you asking an additional $XX to return an insured part??

Hey Michael! Based on the picture, I think youre going to need the Regal Drive Head Cap, part # LC643922. The way you can tell the Plain style from the Regal is the Plain cap has the LP logo on the front and the Plain style is much stockier than the Regal which has more of an elongated or rectangular shape. I am seeing the rectangle shape in the picture here, too. Ill reach out to you by email about getting an order placed!

This part was needed for my travel trailer. I was happy I found etrailer since I had searched the internet for a couple of hours. Do it yourself repair took about 20 minutes. I would purchase RV parts from etrailer again. Good value, quick service and shipping.
This is not a rating of the product but the service. I initially ordered the cover for the Idler Head on my awning. I ordered for the wrong awning. I had to return it and received a credit of $x.xx or the original $xx.xx cost. I then called and talked to a technician. After a few questions, he sadi he knew what I needed and sent the part. He sent the cover for the Power Head side. I am not trying to return this part and get the correct one but the tech I am working with now is making it pretty difficult. I have to email pictures of the part I received and the packaging, which is a brown box. I see no value in this. hope all turns out well.
The part I received was great, but for the price I paid for these parts I did not even get the screws to assemble them, etrailer charges $x each and take 6 of them that’s is crazy

It is very unfortunate, but this front cover does not come with screws included. The screws are included with the back cover, part # LC289561. If you are needing the screws, you can purchase part # LC266156.
the product fit perfectly, although it would have been nice to include the proper screws for the installation. Also the hole for the adjustment screw, is there suppose to be a plug or something to keep rain from getting inside? If so that would have been nice to be included also. Thank you for the quick service!!!
Exact match of the part that was damaged on my RV. As shown in the photo does not come with the rubber plug or mounting screws.
