Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this quarter inch NPT male Firestone push to connect straight connector for your quarter inch airline tubing. Now this male connector includes one threaded male quarter inch NPT fitting and on the other end right here is a push to connect fitting for the Firestone quarter inch airline tubing. You just push the tubing in there far enough and it'll lock into place. This'll provide an adapter for that airline tubing to connect to a component with the quarter inch NPT valve.
You can see they do put some thread sealant around the threads there when you screw it in. But that should do it for a look at the quarter inch NPT male Firestone push to connect straight connector for quarter inch airline tubing.

Great service ordering, the right parts were sent, shipping was delayed? Tracking not available, parts showed going somewhere else, so had no idea when to expect, after they missed the first shipment date.
These are great fittings! Much more user friendly than compression fittings, and makes for a much quicker installation, too.
The red thread sealant that comes factory applied seems to cause more leaks than it fixes, however. I have an old container of Grrip thread sealant from a boiler install many years back that I slather on top of the thread sealant - not one leak using that stuff. I had several leaks using the fittings as delivered.
The key to getting the lines to remain leak free is a perfectly square cut. For years I resisted buying a tubing cutter, but wow - I had no idea what I was missing. One cut, every time. Saved me so much time and aggravation.
Only gripe I have with these is their price, although Viair products are a bit worse in that department. Needed a couple of these to finish my Ox locking differential install, along with an airbag controller in my Silverado 1500. No problems, using that Grrip sealer.
Well made connectors with generous amount of sealant on threads. The two I ordered from etrailer were a third less expensive than two from my local [auto parts store] and had much better coverage of the sealant on the threads. Although the connectors were on back order from the manufacturer, etrailer let me know they were on back order in a timely manner, gave me the option to cancel my order and kept in touch several times while I waited on the order to be filled. I have used etrailer a number of times and always found them to be very helpful and informative. Their tech support is among the very best. I highly recommend using etrailer.

After a year the connectors continue to work well despite being mounted underneath my pick-up and exposed to the elements. This is one reason I always look to eTrailer for quality parts and tech support.

It is the third time I have ordered from etrailer and like before they came through. Had ordered firestone air bags for my 2011 truck and they came with the wrong nuts and 1 broken air line connector. Found the nuts but had to get the connector and it was delivered as promised. Have not bought alot from you but you are now on my home page.

after 1` year still working great
Before ordering make sure to verify the correct size. Otherwise very good product. Had to order a new valve as the old one had a small air leak. The new one fixed the problem.
