Very happy with the plow I purchased from e-trailer. My driveway is just over a half mile into the woods to my house and this plow is perfect for clearing the snow. I had a tension spring come off and never found plus I broke one of the plow edge markers. E-trailer was quick to ship new parts and was able to continue for the next snow storm.
Had to order the spring because the original flipped off during use. When the plow blade flips back after encountering irregularities in the surface, the spring does not have a sufficient lip to keep it from slipping out of the eye bolt or hole in the blade. I’ve tried increasing the tension but the same thing happened. I called customer support for recommendations but they had little if anything to offer.
Despite being certain I will find the spring when the snow melts, I feel It’s an expensive design flaw. I would recommend a retainer or carabiner type clip. Quite upset the design cost me the time and money it has.
