Video Transcript for Replacement Vented Cap for DeeZee Transfer Tanks Feature Review

Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the replacement locking vented cap for your DeeZee transfer tanks. This is going to be an exact replacement for all DeeZee tanks. It's going to feature the same vented cap and neck design as the original. That's going to help reduce the pressure from vapor buildup through temperature changes during transport.

So you can see we've got the two different vents here that are going to allow that pressure to escape. This does have the spin secure lock, and that's going to prevent anyone from stealing the cap, getting into our tank. It will allow the cap to spin freely when it's in the locked position. And then when we open it up and unlock it, then we will be able to remove it.You are going to get two keys for your lock, and you can see this is a magnetic key cover here, so it's going to help keep out any dirt, debris, and elements from corroding our lock cylinder, making it difficult to get our key in there to unlock it. So we shouldn't have to worry about that.

This does come with an MPT adapter. If you need it, you can use it. Just simply install it into your tank. It will work with your cap here. If you don't need this, you can simply just start it and just use the cap as is.

Either way will work, but it's nice that they give you that option in case you do need that MPT connection there.Overall, I think this is going to be a great option for you to help secure your tank and to make sure that everything is staying the way that you need it to, and that ventilation there is going to help prevent that pressure buildup.
