Can Replacement Vented Cap for DeeZee Transfer Tanks # DZGASCAP3 Be Left Installed when Pumping
Updated 07/13/2021 | Published 07/10/2021 >
Question:
I understand this cap will vent pressure from tank expansion, but will this cap vent the tank when pumping fuel with an electric fueling pump? Or, must the cap be removed to pump fuel? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The venting of the Replacement Vented Cap for DeeZee Transfer Tanks # DZGASCAP3 is adequate that it would not need to get removed when pumping fuel with an electric pump like you mentioned. You could leave it on and you'd be fine.
