Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a replacement tamper-proof screw, specifically an M6 x 50 millimeter by Thule. So folks, this will replace one, quantity one, Thule M6 x 50 millimeters, and it is a tamper-proof screw. So you can see that tamper-proof head there and it does prevent the mounting brackets from being removed without the proper tamper-proof wrench. And that is sold separately. It's item number 853-5270-02 and I'll put that on the screen for you as well.
So again, folks, one screw, a direct replacement part from Thule so you can be sure it's gonna work with those specific Thule items that fit that size screw. I'm Steven, thanks so much for your time and have a great day.

I was close to giving and using an inferior bolt. Luckily, i finally found them. They're perfectly to spec and work just as I need.
Purchased these bolts to replace the short bolts (M6 x 30mm) from a very old Thule bike rack. Amazing they worked perfectly with the 15year old Thule bike rack perfectly. I was concerned the nut inside the brackets would be the wrong size or thread count.
Product was as described and arrived as promised. (also glad to not use another site but support another online retailer)
More ppl with Thule products need to find and use this site. THANK YOU FOR HELPING KEEP MY OLD SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL.
