Prompt delivery and shipping tracking. Ramps excellent quality..price unbeatable. Compact design makes for easy storage. I reccomend this product highly.

by:

Product is as advertised. Ramps fold up into a smaller package so they're easy to transport when not in use. eTrailer.com folks were very good about communicating shipping and delivery status.

by:

Great service from etrailer. These ramps have a sharp edge so I taped some high density foam to keep them from scratching my truck as I don't have my liner installed yet.

by:

Work great, like the way they fold up and are easy to carry and stow. Leading edge digs into tailgate leaving gouges in the top of the tailgate.

by:

The tri fold design make storing these ramps easy. They work well and are light weight making them easy to attached. The safety chain also works well. You have to attach the supplied angle plates with 4 bolts so the ramps sit nice and flush with the tail gate. One issue is the ends of the ramps, are sharp metal and they will rub against the tail gate and could scratch it. I put some high density foam to over the metal to protect the tail gate with duct tape since I didn't want the top of my tail gate all scratched up.

Nice and versatile product. I use for moving items into a large shed, and it handles easily snow blower, and the ATV. Delivery after order was prompt and items in good shape.

by:

Love these heavy duty ramps. Even better than we expected.

They have really come in handy. Much easier using them to get our snow blower on the back of our pickup. Would recommend this product for anyone looking to save on their back.

by:

The ramps were bought because I sometimes transport a supermoto bike to track days, in a mid-size pickup. When shopping for the ramps, I was looking for simplicity, strength, portability, and affordability. The Erickson ramps meet all conditions. No help needed in loading a 300-lb bike without help (but I do have to have the bike running in gear b/c of bed height.) Four-star rating is only because, through their own fault, an inattentive user could get their fingers cut during use. Maybe running a sander over the ramp surface could help.

by:

I bough the ramps so that I could wheel my new 10 horse power snow blower into the basement from my garage, as there are about six steps that go down into the basement from the garage. I have also used the ramp for wheeling other items, namely power washer and lawn mower.

The ramps works fine, they are very sturdy and solidly built. They also have a lip that maintains their position on the step so that they do no "slip away and fall" when they are being used. I will shortly be using the ramps in the reverse order- taking the snowblower up the stairs for the winter, and I do not foresee there being any problem doing that.

Outstanding quality steal ramps. Order received on time as scheduled.
A satisfied customer.

by:

Product was shipped quickly. The ramps are high quality and work very well on our Toyota Tacoma. It was very easy getting our Vespa up on the truck. We have mowers and brush cutters that are a forever being transported here or there. The ramps stay put and make the job much easier.

by:

The ramps have worked great. Two minor ideas. Weld the handles on opposite sides so you could put them closer together and straps with a hook on both ends. The ramps make loading the motorcycle a piece of cake.

by:

Product has a good appearance however the stamped edges seem a little sharp. Did not cut the skin but could if one is not careful. The top piece that sets to the tail gate seems a bit light. When pressing down just to get a feel for it's strength the ramp slightly deformed at the edges of the top piece. I do not plan to load anything very heavy so they will likely serve my purpose well. I'm not sure I would want to repeatedly load 1000#. The fold up feature is nice and the hinges seem strong.

by:

I purchased an arched set of Erickson cargo loading ramps EM07464-2 80" 1600lb rated. These are great for my purpose of putting a golf cart into my storage shed that is 30" above grade. They carried the weigh without any deflection at all and fold for easy storage, much safer than the wooden planks I was using, you won't be disappointed!!

Readers; Here is a 'non-bot' review of this product. It is used to load either a snow blower or a lawn tractor into my GMC truck to take the item for seasonal work. It works well from the ground to the the truck bed, but it is steep, so caution is suggested when going up/down. In my use, I have a 'ha ha' wall which a one point of it is the exact height as the truck tailgate. Thus, the ramp goes from the upper lawn, out in the open for a foot or three, and into the truck. Perfect! but just for me .The ramps are rugged enough for a large lawn tractor. They have the annoying habit of jamming up; the nuts tighten on their own when the 'joint' is used. The chain must be tethered when you carry it, or it tangles under your feet. it gets in the way when you unfold the ramp, I am looking for strong snap links to make on/off easy. For all the quirks, it is one of the best that I have seen and/or used. The fold feature, for me, is a must. I have to carry them to the repairs shop to unload the machine. The lawn tractor fills the entire truck box, the folded ramps go in the back seat[4 door truck, in this case]. I have, in fine, seen one new pair of non-folding ramps bend in twain when the poor sod DROVE his lawn tractor up the ramps, to get it in the truck. Iso, if you want a good, strong useful, & with good traction, ramps- buy a set~be safe and be happy

Great ramps. Sturdy and portable which will last for years. I did modify the ramps and glued dense foam to the areas where it made contact with my plastic bumper. Quick and easy modification eliminating scratches to my bumper.

by:

The loading ramps I got from etrailer worked great for loading my Polaris rzr in my pickup fold up great for storage

Looks great, but haven't used it yet.

by:

Sturdy ramp. Works well.

by:

Just what we need to run wheel barrows up and down the old yard truck to move earth and do some concrete work.

by:

Exactly what I was looking for! Very quick shipping!

by:

My order got stuck in transit for a couple extra days but that was the fault of the shipping company. I continue to be impressed with etrailer.com. Their products and service are excellent. I'm very happy with the ramp I ordered and used it the day I received it. The video instructions on this site are super helpful

Absolutely great product. Easy to use. High quality. Incredibly strong. Convenient carrying handles. I use these ramps for loading and unloading my snow blower, hand mower, and pressure washer to the bed of my Ford Ranger. If I had bigger truck bed, the ramps would easily handle my riding mower. I have even used the ramps to get an old steel 4 drawer file cabinet out of my basement...by myself! I can't say enough good things about these ramps. They have my highest recommendation.

  • Recommended Trailer Cargo Ramps For Can Am Spyder Motorcycle
I did some research on the Can Am and found that it measures 61.9 inches wide. We do not have any one piece loading ramps that are that wide but I may have a solution. I recommend using three of the Erickson Arched Loading Ramp, part # EM07464. This ramp is a bit longer than the 3 or 4 feet you mentioned. The ramp is 80 inches long and 11 inches wide. It can be folded for easy storage when not in use. Each ramp weighs 30-lbs and has a weight capacity of 800-lbs.

  • Options for Carrying 540lb Motorcycle with 2001 Nissan Frontier
Although we do offer tray-style motorcycle carriers, the 400-500 lb tongue weight capacity of the hitch, which is the maximum downward force that can safely be applied, would be exceeded by the weight of your bike. This would cause the hitch or its attachment points on the truck to fail while you're transporting the bike, which would be very bad. A small trailer like # K2MMT5X7 would be a good alternative. Or, you could carry the bike in the bed of your truck using a ramp like part # EM07464,...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for an RV Towing a Motorcycle Trailer
The Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # 13703 is a great option. It's extremely versatile since it can be bolted or welded on and fits C-channel, I-beam, and box frames. It's designed to fit frames from 22 to 72 inches wide. You may want an adjustable ball mount on the RV like the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10037B. This comes with two different sized hitch balls and has a 5 inch drop and 5-1/2 inch rise. You'll will want to check with the DOT in your area and the areas...

  • Comparing Steel To Aluminum Folding Ramps
The Erickson Arched Loading Ramp Set - Steel - 72" Long x 9" Wide - 1,000 lbs # EM07435 or # EM07434 are not only lighter but because they are aluminum are corrosion resistant. The steel ramps like # EM07464 are powder coated, but may begin to rust if that powder coat is chipped. Thefolding design will make them easier to maneuver over the bi-folt, but both materials are strong and durable.

  • Can a Dirt Bike and Carrier be used with the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount D210
I have talked to Curt about using the multipurpose ball mount # D210 with a dirt bike carrier before and they advised against it. This is because most dirt bike carriers stick out really far from the receiver and this would put too much stress on the receiver part of the D210 ball mount. If putting the bike in the truck bed is an option you could use a ramp such as # EM07464. Another possible option is to use a front mount hitch and carry the bike at the front of the truck. I would need...

  • Making it Easier to Load Scooter on Carrier on an RV with Trailer Hitch that is High Off the Ground
High/low adapter # RM-048-10 can be used for hitch mounted accessories such as a scooter carrier. However the use of an adapter reduces the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch by 50 percent. It also moves the accessory further away from the hitch receiver resulting in extra stress on the hitch (which is the reason the tongue weight capacity is reduced). Most hitches on RVs are rated for 500 pounds tongue weight meaning at 50 percent reduction it is only rated for 250 pounds. The...

The Erickson Arched Loading Ramp, part # EM07464 would work well for you to load your bikes in the back of a truck or trailer. I do have a solution for you, but there aren't any motorcycle carriers that also are capable of towing a trailer.
