Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this replacement cutting edge for your Meyer snow plows. Now, this is going to replace the cutting edge or scraper blade on the bottom of your Meyer snow plow. This, as you no doubt know, is going to mount to the bottom of your blade to break apart ice and scrape away packed snow while you're clearing parking lots or driveways. And this is comparable to the Meyer part number that you see there on your screen, 09796. And this is made here in the USA and this is constructed of C1090 carbon steel, giving you that premium strength and heavy duty impact resistance.
The Brinell hardness number is from 250 to 300, and this does have a black powder coat finish that's going to help resist corrosion. Let me get my tape measure here and see if I can line this up here for you just to confirm the overall length. So hopefully you can see that we are sitting right at 90 inches long, so this is going to be a 90 inch long edge. And then looking at our width, as you can see there, we're sitting at six inches. And this cutting edge is 3/8 of an inch thick.
The mounting holes are going to accept half inch in diameter carriage bolts. I do wanna point out that those carriage bolts are not included with this edge. And then you do have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 holes for mounting. And the distance between the holes on center, gonna be right at 12-7/16 inches again on center between those mounting holes. Now, I do wanna point out that we do have additional measurements with diagrams that can be found on this product page if you're looking for additional measurements that I did not cover with you today.

I think that the price charged for a 3/8ths thick blade saver is outrageous, 3 years ago I could have bought the same thing for around a hundred bucks.
