Video Transcript for Review of Meyer Power Angling Cylinder - ME69JR

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at this genuine Meyer 1 1/2" by 10" power angling cylinder. Also goes by the part number of 07968. Now this is a 1 1/2" by 10" cross drilled O-ring fitting cylinder for a Meyer snow plow. These we inchesre used on all the newer snow plows, but they can also be used on some of the older plows too.

Now the Meyer snow plows do have a few different cylinders so you do wanna make sure this is what you're gonna need. And the measuring system on this cylinder is often misunderstood. This one is a 1 1/2" by 10" angling cylinder. The 1 1/2" is the size of the rod right here, and then the 10" is giving you the movement of the cylinder. So it'd be a difference between a full open, which is 28", and a full closed, which is 18".

That's your 10" movement. Now basically, this cylinder here in the closed position, overall length one end to the other is 17 1/2". If we measure from the center of the hole right here to the center of the hole right here is 16". Now these do have a 5/8" hole in either end of them. The tank end right down here, they are cross drilled so you can direct the hose where it works best.

Now it does come with this included adapter, which is a female NPT to 1/4" male SAE 6 O-ring adapter. Now we do also carry many other replacement parts for your Meyer snow plow system.
