Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the ARC Concept LED Pod Auxiliary High Beam Light Kit

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this ARC Concept LED Pod Auxiliary High Beam Light Kit. This kit is going to include two of these flush mount auxiliary high beams that will deliver bright white light for improved visibility and safety. Each light is going to have four, five watt Osram Oslon LEDs that provide that high quality light output. So like, turn these on for you.

You can see how bright they're gonna be. If I turn off the lights in my studio, then move these around. You can see how it fills up the light or fills up the studio here. So each light is going to have an output of 1,500 lumens, for a combined total of 3000 lumens. It's going to have a 30 degree narrow beam.

That's going to extend your distance visibility. They both have these TIR projector lenses that produce that nice crisp narrow beam. So we are gonna have lots of visibility out in the distance. These are actually street legal, so they are rated for the new SAE J581 certified standards. So they are gonna be rated for use on all roadways.

On the backside, we do have this black powder-coded aluminum housing. So it is gonna be very corrosion resistant, help to dissipate that heat well, coming from our LEDs. These are IP67 rated to protect against dust and moisture. So they should last you a nice long time. They are very compact in size.

And so they are going to fit onto your bumper or other flat surface. They include foam gaskets to ensure proper seal and a snug fit when you are mounting it down as well as the mounting hardware that you'll need. That you'll just put in the corners there to get it mounted in place. As far as our dimensions go, we're looking at a width of three and a half inches. Three and a half inches tall. And our depth is. we'll call it three and five eights of an inch. To get this wired up, you'll use the included wiring harness. And this does have that rocker switch that makes it very easy to turn the lights on and off. In addition to that rocker switch, we are going to have the two triple sealed Deutsch DT connectors that will connect to the lights, very simple plug and play connection there. I will also have the HID relay here and the lead wire and ground wire with the lead wire having the fuse built in and ring terminals there on the end so that we can easily get these connected to our battery. So that we'll have a sure, constant connection for power for our lights. So if you are looking for some auxiliary high beams for your vehicle, I think this is gonna be a great kit for you.
