Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco PowerGrip 90 Degree Locking Power Cord, part number CAM55532. This adapter allows you to connect your RV or boat's 30 amp power plug to a standard 30 amp power source. Thread locking rings at the female end and male end provide a waterproof connection. The 90 degree connection on the female side helps reduce strain on the cord. It measures 18 inches long, so you may need an extension. The one we're using here today is part number CAM55501. The yellow connectors make it easily visible in low light conditions and the oversized handle makes attaching and detaching simple. This has always been a trip hazard camping and at home storage. Thanks to Abam and crew product shipped fast and was everything as shown in video. Great product and wheather proof too.
the product was exactly what I . Although I might caution the the length stated is the total length.. the connectors take up quite a biota the total length. A special thanks toe trailer personal for spotting that I had ordered the same item twice. They called me to make sure what I wanted to do. Thank you !!
The adapter works as advertised. The reason for four stars is the actual connection is a little loose and the plastic ring used to secure it is a bit flimsy and occasionally tries to cross thread. That said, as long as you're careful and pay attention, no worries.

Just received the adapter and haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I've wanted one of these for a long time now as the 50 amp plug sticks straight out from the receptacle. Always thought this was a dumb design as it puts a lot of stress on the plug and cord. The prices are starting to look more attractive so I decided to bite the bullet and get one.
Works just as it should. Now I can use my 30 amp extension cord with my 5th wheel when I am at a campsite or storage that does not have 50 amp connections. The adapter arrived just a promised and the customer service was outstanding. I will order from etrailer again.
This extension has been a game saver on a couple occasions. There have been a couple of parks where the extension has come in handy. Well made lives up to its expectations. A must have.
Just what I needed to take the stress off of my trailer electrical hookup. Heavy duty and well made.
This product is answer to my dreams. Have a 37' Pace Arrow which had a 3.5k generator which was only capable of running one a cat a time. Generator died and I quickly found out generator repair people are rarer than Amish electricians. Bought a 7k generator and was arranging to pay an electrician to wire it in to rv when I discoveees this incredible connection. It twists in to 120/240 outlet on generator and accepts 4 prong rv cord. GREAT!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Turned on both ac's for first time since I owned rv, (over 10 yrs). Within mins rv was cool and I have enough power for another rv. This thing is great. I highly recommend to anyone with an rv with a small generator or generator in need of repair, go buy a 7k running amp generator and this plug and you're set with plenty of electrical power. Also, the quality and durability of this part is suprisingly amazing. You can easily run over this plug with your rv and not phase it. BUY ONE. This will be the best rv purchase you can make. Thank you ETRAILER for a great product worth twice the price easily. Will be ordering another one for a friend soon. 5??
good product and received in a timely manner. Just wish they made them about 6" longer. Was covered in dust...must have been stored in the shed out back...lol.
This does all that I hoped for. It’s a solid connection to the 5th wheel. It doesn’t torque the connection with the weight of the cord sticking straight out,
I bought it to provide strain relief for my RV power cord. It works well, except the locking ring can be frustrating (sticky and/or cross threading).
Works as advertised. Already used several times because the electrical panel was to far.

The elbow connector is doing it’s job. Much easier to connect to the side of our travel trailer than the straight cord connection that came with it. Extends the original cord by 2 feet and relieves the stress on the connection on the side of the trailer. Working well
Perfect for securing bicycles. Lock and key are made well and easy on and off
