By attaching these mirrors to your factory side-view mirrors, you'll be able to see past the end of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass other motorists, and park. The housing of each slide-on mirror is constructed of durable ABS plastic, as are the included components.
This set fits factory mirrors like those pictured above.
These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

The set of mirrors that were sent to me were a returned item. How do I know this is there was a return email in the box from the person that returned the item.
And when I tried to install the mirrors to go on our camping trip this weekend only the passenger side would stay on. Not sure why but it appears that the foam inside the mirror is to thick. And there was no other foam pieces inside the box like is mentioned in the installation instructions. Had I known sooner I would have returned them.

Haven't had them on down the road yet, but they do fit perfectly and seem to be of very good quality.
Only thing I would change is the clamp. I have a feeling I will loose them as they cannot be "left on" the mirrors when not in use.

Ordered these mirrors so we can pick up our new camper. Order status said it was delivered, but the package had a single tamper proof screw. Not sure how I’ll be able to tow my new camper home. A little disappointed to say the least.
The mirrors fit perfect onto the mirrors of my 2007 Dodge truck. They are exactly what I needed to be able to see vehicles at the rear of my camper, making our travels a lot safer for lane changes and stops.
I posted earlier about these. I've had a chance to actually use them on my truck. They do fit very well as I stated. I did notice that the mirrors do vibrate/shake some. Not bad enough to be unusable, but more than I'd hoped. I haven't noticed much from wind noise from them and the don't move, rattle, or show any notice to a passing semi.
Sorry, but I never used the product. I sold my old dodge before the mirror extensions arrived. Never opened the box. I have returned them for a refund.
Looks great and very easy installation.
I purchased the CTM3100B for my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 after much research online for the best products. The product arrived very quickly and in good condition. I read some initial reviews about other products having a lot of vibration but that is not the case with these. The install was simple and the design is very good. I put them on and did a test run at a much higher speed than I would be if towing. No wind noise and very little if any vibration. I am pleased with my purchase and will be using these when towing my 23ft travel trailer. The nice thing is there is nothing permanent when mounting these and are very easy to remove.
Fit and function is great on my Dodge Ram 1500 (2004) It’s giving me the perfect amount of rear view to see around my Truck Camper ! Thanks etrailer for a quality product. Shipping was fast also !
My mirror extensions arrived really quick. They slipped on my existing truck mirrors just like a glove. The installation took me about 10 minutes. The directions was simple to understand but to be honest I could have figured it out without them. I have not tried them out on the road because of the severely cold weather we are having.
Works great used them many times. 5 minutes and your on the way.
I haven't used the mirrows yet. They look good on my truck and I think they will be fine when I pull my 24' pontoon boat and my 37' 5th Wheel. I like them because they do not stick out to far and I keep my factory mirrows. etrailer has went above and beyond to make things right for me. I will recommend them for any of your needs for trailers and other products they offer. Thanks to Carla for her kindness and help when I need it.

I like how they fit in the groove of the existing mirrors. The hook system seems secure and simple. My only concern was the screw that holds the mirror in place. For my model the screws were too long and required me to add washers to make them snug. The other option was to saw the screws shorter. A solution would be knobs with through holes allowing the knob to tighten farther.

Trash! Lost both mirrors on the road in less than 500 miles of use. Moved on to replace entire mirrors.
