The CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror would probably fit your 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. It is a universal fit mirror, so it is designed to fit most trucks and SUVs.
We do have some custom fit options that will fit better. Both CIPA and Longview make slip-over towing mirrors that slip onto the existing base mirrors and provide an extension to aid vision when towing. I have added links to CIPA mirrors, left mirror # 10701 and right mirror # 10702, and the Longview kit # CTM3100B.
