Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Loctite PL Marine Fast Cure in White. Now, if you're doing any kind of work on boats or marine equipment or anything that's exposed to water, and you need a strong, flexible and waterproof bond or seal, this is going to be a great option for you to consider. Now, this sealant is going to be great for installing or resealing through hull fittings, mounting port lights or hatches, sealing deck to hull joints, repairing leaks or cracks in fiberglass, and even waterproofing around screws, bolts, and joints. So all of that and a whole lot more you could use this for.
Now this is specifically designed and engineered for boats and harsh marine environments, like salt water, UV rays, hull flexing. This is built to handle all of that and more without breaking down. Now, most marine sealants can take up to several days to cure, but this one's going to set in in about 30 minutes and then it's going to fully cure in about 24 hours. So this is gonna be great if you're working on a schedule or if you're in a tight repair window. But once it cures, it's going to form a watertight seal that's going to stay flexible.
So this is going to be perfect for things like deck fittings, whole seams, or around hardware where movement is going to be inevitable. This is going to stick to almost anything, wood, fiberglass, gel, coat, metal, plastic, vinyl, and even some damp surfaces. So it's going to bond even when the conditions aren't exactly perfect. Now, as you know, a lot of adhesives might shrink or bubble, especially on wet surfaces. This will not do that.
This is going to give you a smooth, even seal that lasts every time. And then you can paint over it once it cures. So it's gonna be great for aesthetics or matching the surrounding surfaces on your boat or structure. There's no harsh solvents, so this is gonna be safer for you. It's not gonna break down, or it won't break down materials like some aggressive adhesives do.
Now, you will need a caulk gun. If you don't happen to have one, we do have an option here for you on your screen. You can take that model number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to that gun, and you can add that to your order if you so desire. If you do decide that this is going to be exactly what you need, that's great. We would love to hear back from you regarding your experience using this. Let us know how the applying it went and how it's holding up for you, and you can share your experiences with us by either dropping a comment or leaving a review. And if you leave a review, you can leave some pictures as well. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
