The Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack gives you freedom to carry long or short loads with ease. Its uprights slide smoothly along T-track base rails the full length of your bed, so you can position them for lumber, ladders, or kayaks without needing to unload everything. Quick-release clamping knobs make it easy to loosen, move, and lock the uprights in place. When you need the whole bed open, the rack sections can slide together at the front for full bed access and better aerodynamics on the drive home.
This rack is rated for up to 1,250 lbs, so it’s ready for serious work. The wide bases on each upright spread the load and keep everything stable without needing extra bracing. The crossbars measure 69-1/2" across and sit at a 27-5/16" rack height, giving you plenty of clearance for tall cargo. Whether you’re hauling walk planks or gear for a weekend on the water, the TracRac SR has the backbone to carry it all.
Both the base rails and uprights are made from 6000-series aluminum that’s tough yet lightweight. It won’t rust or corrode, and the dual powder coat finish adds even more protection. An e-coat layer bonds tightly to the metal, then a clear topcoat protects against scratches and scuffs. The result is a rack that looks good and performs season after season without weighing your truck down.
Elliptical crossbars and built-in airfoil strips keep wind noise low, even at highway speeds. Each bar includes top and bottom mounting slots so you can attach accessories or secure tie-downs wherever you need them. Four heavy-duty aluminum load stops slide along the bars to hold ladders or lumber in place, while four side cleats on the uprights give extra tie-down points for odd-shaped cargo. Everything locks down with a twist of a knob—no tools required.
The TracRac SR mounts securely using stake pockets—no drilling required. The base rails sit right on top of your bed rails with twin T-tracks that let the uprights glide smoothly back and forth. Once installed, you get strength, stability, and adjustability without permanent changes to your truck.
