Question:

Ive recently purchased a 2025 Ram 1500 Bighorn with 5'7" bed with a Gator SRX Soft roll up cover that mounts inside the side rails of the bed. I need help identifying a ladder rack that will mount to the top of the bed side rails that wont interfere with the tonneau cover. If possible, Id like the height to be adjustable so I can raise it above the roof of the truck enough, so my canoe does not hit the roof of the cab. when needed. Thanks for your help

Hey Tom,

Since the Gator SRX clamps to the inner lip of the bedrails and sits within the bedrails you'll have to go with a ladder rack that mounts into the stake pockets. The Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4000965 you were looking at would work and comes with a sliding base for the towers so that you can move them around to fit your needs. This rack does only have a 500lb capacity so depending on your intended use this might not be enough.

If this is a work truck and you're needing more capacity to haul around material and tools then I recommend the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH57RV instead. This also comes with sliding bases but is instead a tool-free design to move the towers around for easier adjustability. It has a 1,250lb capacity rating and a cantilever # TH24002XT can be added on for more storage space over the cab.
