Hello, everybody. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our track extensions for the Thule TracRac utility rack sliding ladder rack. Now folks, these are gonna be four foot long extensions, and these are just simply base rail extensions that mount between the tracks of your Thule TracRac utility rack, that's obviously sold separately. So I'll throw an image up real quick. This is that Thule TracRac utility rack on the bed of a utility-type bed truck.
And as you can kind of see in the image, and if you already have this you know, they only give you about, I'd say 16 to 18 inches on those bases that bolt to your utility bed. So you're kind of limited about sliding those racks forward or back, those kind of things. Well, if you get these four foot extensions, now you can put these in between those and have about six feet total, give or take with this four foot and then the 18 and 18 or whatever it is on the factory ones to play around with. So it gives you that full bed length pretty much to move that utility rack. Now, these are made of anodized aluminum.
They are super durable, lightweight, they're rust proof. You're gonna get two of these. They have that same platform profile as the ones that came stock, they're just longer. And then you also get a nice bag of hardware. There's lots of blocks in here, bolts, washers, nuts.
I left it in here 'cause there's just so much of it. Keep in mind that's all stainless steel as far as the bolts and the hardware. So I recommend using an anti-seize on the threads of all those bolts. Once that you're going into aluminum and those kind of things. And stainless steel, you really wanna use an anti-seize on the thread so that nothing gets stuck in place in case you have to remove it in the future.
Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Again, I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching. Have a good one.
