This 17' LED light strip has a weatherproof exterior that makes it perfect for indoor or outdoor use. 300 Diodes produce a bright white light. Cut-to-fit installation with peel-and-stick adhesive backing. Hardwires to any 12V power source.Overall, these are fit for purpose of providing lighting for a truck bed. I was lucky enough to have a rigid tonneau cover on my bed, and the light strips fit perfectly stuck to the bottom of the mounting rails. I cleaned the underside of the rails first with carburetor cleaner, and they seem to be adhering well. Since both ends of the 17’ strip had leads, I cut to length for the sides of the bed only. I had originally wanted to turn the corners at the front of the bed and have the strip wrap around, but this strip does not have flexibility to do that and remain neatly hidden. I also added an on/off switch, and I’m pretty happy with the results, though there is that bluish tint as reported on some reviews, and I wouldn’t complain if they were a bit brighter. Better than fumbling in the darkness though!!
The light strip was just what I needed.It replaced an old one that wasn't working.I installed it by sliding it into a channel attached to the trailer. Very easy to install. it's still shining brightly. Love it!
I really like this LED strip. While the running lights are not all that bright, the turn signal feature is very bright. I put these on the back of my camper to to augment the rather small, stock turn signal lenses. The bright LED turn signal feature has definitely increased my safety. Before, cars would many times not see that my turn signals on, making for some scary lane changes. With these bright LEDs most people see them and allow my lane change.
I recently replaced our faulty RV trailer strip lights with multi-color, fancy strip lights from a big box store only to find out they were much too dim to be functional. I decided to pull off these new lights and replace them with these etrailer white lights. They are as bright as we hoped they would be. They do have a purplish tint to them, that other reviews have mentioned , but my wife and I both enjoy the color as well as the brightness!
I bought this to replace the dim factory light on my roo. Works perfectly, not too bright and it fit in the existing track. Easy install, just cut the old wires and join with a 22g waterproof connector.
Have not installed this one yet. Winter set in before I could really start work. Will be installing the lights this spring.
Great lighting, so far adhesive backing is holding . Nice bright even coloring.
Nice bright light, works well in my trailer. The 3M tape on the back does not stick very well to painted wood, splicing is difficult, needs a better means of splicing to add light strips.
For my application the led lights were very good. The first foot of the light strip there was no adhesive glue but I worked around that with my 5/16 inch 3 m exterior double stick tape. In your description of the product
You should give the width oh the light s. They are 3/8 inch and that was a perfect replacement for the lights I removed. My application has a track that the lights fit into and these were a perfect direct replacement.

Mike - 02/08/2022'White' lights are more purple than white when installed. Will use these temporarily until I can find a set of true white lights in a store. Service from etrailer.com was exceptional - 5-stars. Order was filled promptly and the product was received before forecast delivery. 2 stars lost due to off color of product.
Love the light! Low voltage draw LEDs are bright enough to read under my camper awning. Easy installation, but remember that LEDs are positive/negative specific. Didn't work at first until I reversed the polarity, then everything was perfect.

The 17 foot long LED strip lights are a joke. The adhesive strip on the back didnt hold for more than 15 mins after turning them on. Despite prepping the area with acetone and a lint free cloth before installation. Very disappointing, I will order another touch light as it works incredibly well.
Hooked this to my porch light so now the whole side lights up brighter than bright. Easy to install with adhesive on the back. Ran it just below awning. Fantastic product

Shipping was fast and efficient. Refurbishing a 1965 Avion C10 camper - nuance is important and products we purchased fit the bill!
The quality of the product is excellent. However, I purchased it because I used a filter for my 2016 Keystone Fuzion to purchase the product as a direct replacement. This product is wider than OEM and would not fit in the recessed track so I installed it above the recess and so for it seems to work fine. Lesson learned is do not trust the vehicle filter and measure the width of your recess if installing on the barrel of the awning.
Lights looked great once I got them and they were easy to install. Fit in the LED track under my awning on my travel trailer perfectly. LEDs were supposed to be water resistant from what I read on the description. Took the trailer out for a weekend trip, had a short rain shower and the LEDs apparently got some moisture on them because the LEDs are discolored and about 4”-6” of the strip is not working.

Super easy install. Low light, bluish color. We wanted “mood lighting” as opposed to a harsh white light and this is perfect.
Super easy to install and provides lots of light outside the trailer. LEDs can run all night off trailer battery for a quiet night outside without running generator.
The lights themselves are great - plenty bright with a slight color of blue/purplish. The adhesive on the back of them could use some work, I had to run a bead of clear silicone on mine to ensure they'd actually stick where they are supposed to. Per previous Q&A on this site, in order to cut these once and use as two separate lights you need to buy another pigtail to make them work, so I did. This is actually NOT the case. My roll of lights came pre-wired on BOTH ends. I cut them once and used them as two separate lights, and now I have the extra clip on pigtail sitting on a shelf in my garage, I contacted customer service about updating a description and never got a reply. There was no sense in paying for shipping just to return a few dollar item, so I still have it - maybe I'll need it for a future project with another roll of these lights. Just a shame that the information isn't completely accurate.
Great product. I replaced all my yacht lights and love them. Wouldn’t mind some more selection of colours.
LED awning lights on my 5th wheel went out. Searched internet for replacement options. Best deal I found was these sold by etrailer, Had a question about them before purchasing. Wrote question to etrailer. Received timely response and ordered them. Came when promised. Installed lights, which was very easy to do. They work great.
I purchased these light strips to replace the originals on my awning tube. I wanted this light strip specifically because of its width. The channel that fits in is 10cm. This light strip will fit in the channel without having to use the backing adhesive. Hard wired right into the existing 12v dc supply. They are also plenty bright enough.
