Video Transcript for Breaking Down the Superman Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover

Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number PC002225. This is the Superman Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover from Chroma Hitch Covers. The Superman logo is officially licensed through DC Comics and Warner Brothers. Our hitch covers are going to allow you to add a clean finish look to your hitch and they're going to help you dirt and grime out the hitch. This one is going to be made from a durable, corrosion-resistant, aluminum construction both at the faceplate and the plugs that go under the hitch. Here on the front, it's going to feature our brush aluminum finish that's going to give it a very nice look. Now you can see here that we're going to have two differently sized mounting brackets.

This set right here has a two-hole design. This is going to be used for an 1-1/4 inch hitches, and then the set that I have installed for demonstration, it's going to have a three-hole design that's going to be used for 2 inch hitches. It does come with a hardware. You'd use the same set of hardware for each set that the hitch cover comes with. The multiple pinhole locations are a great design because you can use it whatever one works best for your particular application. Now, you're hitch pinning clip or hitch lock are going to be sold separately. You can find those here in our website, but that is required to get this secured and installed into hitch.

The 1-1/4 inch setup will receive a standard 1/2 inch diameter pin, and then the 2 inch setup is going to receive or accept 00:01:18 a standard 5/8 inch diameter pin. Again, this is design for an 1-1/4 inch by 1-1/4 inch, and 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitches. This is going to give us an overall width measurement of about 5-1/4 inches, overall height measurement a 3-3/4 inches. Again, it's a really simple installation. I'm going to go and show you how to install this on a hitch. All you have to do is take it, place it in to the opening on your hitch, and you got to push it in until you get the pinholes line up, and again, you can choose whatever one works best for your application, then what you'll do is simply just take your hitch pinning clip or hitch pin lock, place it through, and then secure it with a clip or lock on the other side.
