Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Performance Tool 1,500 watts ceramic space heater with the fan. Now, this is a nice compact heater, has a temperature control and is ideal for small garages or workshops. Uses high or low settings based on your overall heat level needed and efficiency. When you put it on the high level, it'll be 1,500 watts, low would be 750 watts, and it has a nice dial thermostat for setting the desired temperature zone.
So the unit will turn on and off to maintain comfort. So basically, if you look right here, we turn this. Right over here, you'll see it's pointing to off. So if you click it next up it'd be just the fan only and it'd be low and it'd be high setting. And then over here is the dial thermostat that you can see.
You could start in the low position and then move it up to high heat as you need. It does use stainless steel heating coils with ceramic baffles to deliver immediate consistent heat. The fan will distribute heat more effectively than a radiant ceramic heater. And as we mentioned, there is a fan-only setting. This can be used with the heater off, increasing versatility.
It does offer integrated safety devices to protect you and your workspace. The heating element has an overheat protection sensor with an indicator light right up here. This caution light will come on and has an automatic power shutoff trigger if the thermostat fails. Now, the body right here, you can see, will pivot on the base to direct the airflow at any angle that works best for your space. And if you notice right here, it has a nice carry handle on the top of the rear housing to move it around.
Specs on this length of it is about 8 1/2 inches long. Height of about 11 inches tall. Total width is about 8 1/4 inches wide. And again, the maximum 120 volt power, as we mentioned, is 1,500 watts at 12.5 amps. The ideal heating capacity is about 750 square feet. The power cord that's connected to it that you plug in, it's a six foot long cord, and the overall weight on this is right around 4 1/2 pounds. Very lightweight. Does come with a nice owner's manual to describe how it operates. But that should do it for a look at this Performance Tool, 1,500 watts ceramic space heater with the fan.
