Hello, neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, we're looking today together at this BulletProof Hitch Medium-Duty Coupler Lock, and it's gonna fit all three ball sizes that are out there, one and seven eighths, two inch, and two and five sixteenth inch couplers. Now, folks, this will lock your trailer coupler to prevent tow-away theft, and also keeps others from hooking up to your trailer. It's gonna fit most ball-style couplers. It's very simple to operate. Take the rubber cover off, insert the key.
You get two keys with this. There we go. And it is spring-loaded, you kinda see that. So it's automatically gonna unlock. Put the coupler on.
And if I lock it, it's not going anywhere. And again, it's just spring-loaded, so it comes apart really simple. Put it up under the coupler, just push it down as far as you can go, and it's locked. So again, you have to unlock it, you're gonna hear it spring lock into place. You basically push it down right on top of your coupler, and smashing it onto the top of the coupler, preventing it from going anywhere.
It's a rust-resistant lock body. It's gonna absorb hand blows. It's been made constructed of super durable hardened steel. And like I showed you, that dual ratchet system allows the shackle to clamp around the coupler, and that's gonna guard against tampering as well. The rubber key cover here is gonna keep this protected from weather elements, dirt, debris, those kinda things.
Now, as far as a maximum coupler width, in between these two, those pieces of metal there, the U shape here is four and a half inches wide. That's the max coupler width it'll fit. The shackle diameter here is a half inch thick. A nice limited lifetime warranty from Bulletproof. This is the medium duty coupler lock for all ball size couplers. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.

Very strong and theft proof! I wish I would have had one of these hitch locks on one of my boat and trailers that was stole two weeks ago. I don’t think the thieves will be able to cut this lock off like the other regular kind of lock that I had used on the stolen boat and trailer.
This BulletProof Extreme Duty Coupler Lock is just what I needed for security on my new vacation trailer. It far exceeds a similar type lock that I had on my utility trailer.
Just received the Coupler Lock today. Fits very well on my 2 5/5/16's coupler. It is a pretty nice unit and seems to be well made. Looks and feels pretty heavy duty. A little pricey but, I am very pleased with it.
Very heavy duty. This appears to be a high quality product. This should deter all but the most determine thief. It's going to take some serious tools and serious effort to get this off without the key.
