Features to know about

Haul What You Need with Confidence: Class III Strength and 2" Receiver

With a 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight rating, this Class III hitch can handle small campers, boats, and cargo carriers with ease. The 2" receiver fits most racks, trays, and mounts on the market, so you can hook up your gear without adapters or extra hardware. Whether you’re towing for work or heading out for a weekend trip, it’s built for dependable hauling.

Stay on the Road Longer: Matte Black Powder Coat That Fights Corrosion

The matte black powder coat isn’t just for looks—it’s a fourth layer of protection that stands up to road grime, salt, and weather. Unlike glossy finishes that show scratches, the matte carbide texture hides scuffs and keeps the hitch looking clean. Rocks and road debris happen, but this coating helps keep rust from taking hold so your hitch stays in good shape year after year.

Install It Yourself Without the Hassle: Bolt-On Design Using Factory Mounting Points

You don’t need to drill or weld to get this hitch installed. It bolts directly to existing frame attachment points using the included hardware kit and common hand tools. The holes line up cleanly for a straightforward fit, making it a solid choice if you want to handle the install on your own in the driveway or garage.

Keep Your Vehicle’s Clean Look: Concealed Cross Tube Design

The sturdy square-tube construction keeps the receiver visible but tucks the cross tube up out of sight for a seamless appearance. Once installed, it blends in neatly under the bumper instead of sticking out. You get a strong hitch that looks like it belongs there—not an add-on hanging off the back.

Worked as advertised. It hangs a bit low and it sometimes scrape the bottom when traveling over speed bumps or curbs.

Hitch and rack are great BUT I didn’t realize that rack has to be unbolted for removal. I don’t like this at all

Perfect fit on my 2025 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid. Will mainly use it for my bike rack. Lincoln does offer one for the Nautilus with the cost over double of the etrailer Trailer Hitch. Watched the install video and had mine done in just over 2 hours.

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve Hybrid
Hey Rich. I do not have the installation instructions for the etrailer Hitch item # e97ZV. Curt manufacturer's our hitches so the instructions for their item # C72ZJ will be identical to the ones included with our etrailer Hitch item # e97ZV. I do have an installation video we made that I have linked below. It shows the etrailer Hitch item # e97ZV being installed on a 2025 Lincoln Nautilus. The etrailer item # e97ZV is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity...

  • Best Method For Protecting Trailer Hitch From Rust Or Corrosion
Hello Jeff, thanks for reaching out. The best thing you can do for that is to sand down any rusted areas to remove the rust. Then touch up those areas with a black rust resistant paint. Rustoleum is what I typically use for this and it works great. I did try using black flex seal spray once and it worked fine but it goes on pretty thick. It is generally recommended to check your hitch once a year and touch up any rusted spots. Rocks and road debris will inevitably scratch the hitch.

  • Trailer Wiring Harness For A 2024 Lincoln Nautilus
Hi Ted! We do indeed have a trailer wiring harness to go along with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e97ZV for your 2024 Lincoln Nautilus! For that you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C58MJ. • Does the etrailer Hitch Block the Foot Sensor on a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus?
No, not that we've heard of Fred. If the etrailer hitch item # e97ZV were to block a foot activated sensor it would just be around the 2" receiver. You wouldn't want to kick there anyways so you'd just need to go to the left or right of the receiver. The etrailer Hitch item # e97ZV has been confirmed to fit a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. This custom fit class III hitch has a 2" receiver, with a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs. It includes all hardware necessary...

  • Does Hitch Install On 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid Have Any Issues Or Modification?
Good morning Keith. No, there are no install issues with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver 2" # e97ZV on the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus hybrid. The install process is the same regardless if it's the hybrid. No drilling is required, although some light trimming is necessary on the plastic underside piece. I've attached a photo to show this step. Don't worry, it won't be seen from the back of the vehicle so nobody will know you had to do that to install the hitch! This is the case for all...

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus
Hey John. I checked with our vendors and no one makes a hitch with a removable receiver for a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. To install a hitch, I recommend our etrailer item # e97ZV. This class III hitch has a 2" receiver with a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight. As far as the kick-sensor goes with the etrailer item # e97ZV, we haven't heard of any issues with interference but if there was it would only be around the 2" receiver. You wouldn't want to kick there anyways...
