Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our TowSmart trailer hitch receiver. Folks, this is a custom fit class III 2" trailer hitch. It looks like it fits the 2020 through current Jeep Gladiators. Now, I always tell people make sure you're double checking that with etrailer's fit guide on our homepage, etrailer.com, and that's because sometimes these videos can be outdated and maybe it's gonna fit a newer Jeep Gladiator and possibly some other models and those kind of things as well.
So always double check the fit guide with anything you see here just to make sure you're getting the right thing the first time. Now this is rated for 5,000 pounds capacity and it has a 500-pound tongue weight rating. And as you can see, it's made of heavy-duty steel, very nice quality. And you have your safety chain hookup welded down there and then you have this nut here that's gonna go in there. And then you have a couple blocks, two nuts, two nuts and bolts rather, and then two fish wires.
So everything here is what you're gonna need to install this. It's a bolt-on installation, no drill whatsoever. You get all the hardware. And just one thing to to point out, when you get all this, it's most likely gonna be in a baggie and stuffed inside of the receiver tube here. So if you get these, don't freak out and panic if you don't see hardware in the box.
It's usually stuffed inside of here. You have your standard hitch pin hole here, 5/8 of an inch, so make sure you're using the hitch pin to then mount your accessories. Whether it's a cargo carrier, bike rack, trailers, ball mount, those kind of things, this will get it done. And again, it's gonna keep your Jeep Gladiator looking nice and clean in the same process.
