Features to know about

Tow Heavy Loads Without Losing Versatility: Dual 2" Receivers for Maximum Utility

This Class V hitch gives you serious towing strength while letting you use more than one accessory at a time. With its dual, vertically stacked 2" receivers, you can pull a trailer rated up to 17,000 lbs (or 20,000 lbs with weight distribution) and still mount a bike rack or cargo carrier in the second receiver. It’s built for heavy-duty setups where you don’t want to give up convenience just because you’re hauling something big.

Keep Towing Power with Extensions: Designed for SuperTruss and Camper Tie-Downs

If you run a truck camper or need extra clearance, this hitch is made to work with TorkLift’s SuperTruss extensions and camper tie-downs. The pre-drilled mounting points make it easy to bolt on the tie-downs, and when paired with the SuperTruss, it keeps a strong connection even when the receiver is extended to clear your camper. The setup helps you maintain high towing capacity without the big drop in strength that comes with standard extenders.

Truck towing setup with TorkLift SuperTruss hitch extension connected to a TorkLift SuperHitch dual-receiver, showing clearance behind a bed-mounted camper.

Built to Handle Real Work: Heavy Steel Construction with Reinforced Details

The SuperHitch Original is made from sturdy steel and uses high-penetration, dual-shield welding for maximum durability. Reinforced hitch pin holes resist wear over time, and the built-in safety chain loops give you secure connection points right out of the box. The black powder coat finish helps fight corrosion, so you can count on it to hold up through years of hauling in tough conditions.

Easy Bolt-On Install: No Welding Required

This hitch mounts directly to your frame using a bolt-on design, so there’s no need for welding. It comes prepped for standard ball mounts and hitch accessories, with 2 included hitch pins and clips. You get a strong, clean installation that’s ready to tow as soon as it’s bolted up.

i love this hitch setup. i had one on my previous 2008 chevy 2500hd. now i have 2016 chevy 3500hd. installation was fairly simple if you study the instructions. i would recommend to anyone except when you order.... tell them you want extra packaging from manufacturer! (my hitch was drop shipped) I received my hitch with NUMEROUS paint chips! was very disappointed. etrailer went beyond what i consider there responsibility and credited me some money for a can of paint for touch ups.

First off thanks for following up on this. I love all the products! Installation was good as can be for the hitch but I had same hitch on my 2008 hd and as I remember it.... the paint held up alot longer than this new one. It is literally half way rusted. Half the black paint is gone! Being said seeing a rusty hitch on my new 2016 truck is annoying. Very disappointed. Ill have to repaint the whole hitch.Otherwise I am happy with all products

Great heavy duty hitch compared to Chevy factory hitch which egged out after towing 8000 miles. New hitch has extra welds around holes to help prevent egging.I did have to do some filing of the hitch to allow shank to slide in as it was a tight fit(which is a good thing).

Its a great hitch.Very happy so far. Repainted several times do to our winter roads salt and sand.I check and torque mounting bolts once in spring prior to towing my RV.

2015 GMC 3500HD
The Hitch is AWESOME! The attachment bolts took 3 hands and a set of small wife-fingers to facilitate placement of the backing plates on the long bolts at the rear of the hitch frame rails.

On our GMC 3500HD, the fishing of the bolts through the frame for the lateral frame rail supports (and rear camper tie down brackets) was pretty difficult. The opening in the frame did not allow the entire stack of bolt/washer/spacer to be passed and placed.

Generally, the method of attachment was very strong and well thought through. The passing of the bolts/washers/backing plates through the frame works, but can be conceptually challenging to the uninitiated.

It's a great system that can applied by a Harry and Harriet Homeowner - esp. if one has small, flexible hands. We did our truck without a lift in our garage.... and so can you - Go for it! :)

2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
I think it is a great product but expensive. In retrospect I could not do what I wanted with the truck and hitch so I spent the money needlessly. Not any fault of your company. I would have been just as well to leave the stock OEM and not spent the money anyway. Live and learn.

The item appears very heavy Doty and well designed. Only complaint I have is the stickers on it were put on upside down. This Dow nothing to quality just makes it appear I have installed it upside down.

  • Recommended TorkLift SuperHitch And SuperTruss Hitch Extender For A 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500
Hi William, The correct TorkLift SuperHitch for your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 is going to depend on your bed length and then will be split by capacity. 6-1/2' Bed: 17k # TLC1212 20k # TLC1212-30 8' Bed: 17k # TLC1211 20k # TLC1211-30 From there you can measure to find the correct length TorkLift SuperTruss hitch extender by measuring. If the camper is mounted on the truck you'll need to measure from the face of the truck's rear bumper to the outside edge of the camper's bumper. This...

  • TorkLift 48" Extension For A 2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali With 2-1/2" Factory Receiver
To use a TorkLift 48" hitch extender you will have to change out your receiver on your 2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali. The TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension # TLE1648 will only fit the 3" receiver that comes on the Ford Super Duty trucks. To find the right TorkLift receiver that will allow you to use a 48" TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1548 you need to determine what bed length you have as well as what the maximum weight is that you would use the receiver to tow. 6-1/2' Bed...

  • Recommended Hitch Extender Approximately 3 Feet Long for 4800 lb Trailer
If you have a 2-1/2 inch receiver on your truck then you can use the Curt # C45048 which will give you 34 inches of extension and can use weight distribution to get you to towing capacity needed. To get the same 34 inches, you can also use the Reese # RP45292 which is rated for the same capacity with weight distribution. Finally, the best option for strength and durability on your 2018 Chevy 3500 is to replace your trailer hitch receiver with the dual receiver # TLC1211 for a long bed...

  • Hitch Extender for a Travel Trailer with 12,000 Gross Vehicle Weight Rating GVWR
The only hitch extender we have that will work for you is the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension. The shortest extension they offer is part # TLE1521 which measures 21" long. The issue is the weight of your trailer and 50% reduction from the adapter. In order to use the SuperTruss you will also need the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLC1212 if you have a 6-1/2' bed or part # TLC1211 if you have an 8' bed.

  • Recommended Weight Distribution & Hitch Extender to Towing a Camper and Trailer with 2015 Chevy 3500
For your situation, I cannot recommend you use a hitch extender like # ST18 and a longer weight distribution shank, but I do have a couple solutions for you. A hitch extender like # ST18, will not be able to support the weight of your trailer and weight distribution system. This extender maxes out at 700lbs TW when used with a weight distribution system which we have figured your trailer alone will have max 600-900lbs when loaded and you have to account for the weight of the system which...

  • Does 36" SuperTruss Extension Need TorkLift Hitch on 2018 GMC Sierra 3500
You will need to use the TorkLift trailer hitch on your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 in order to use the SuperTruss 36" Extension # TLE1536. The reason for that is the extension is designed to fit the dual receivers of the SuperHitch as opposed to the single receiver of the OEM hitch on your Sierra. You can also choose from a SuperHitch with dual 2" receivers or with a 2-1/2" and 2" receiver, with the extension fitting either. I'll list out the options, as there are different fits depending on...

This hitch has adjustable side brackets that slide along the hitch body to match exactly the width of your vehicle frame before welding it on. • 36 Inch Hitch Extender for a 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
I do have options for you but you cannot install two of part # C45796 together to get a total of 36". Doing so would completely diminish your trailer hitches weight capacity. The most cost effective solution I have for you would be to use part # RP45292 for 24"-34". However, this option is only 34" max lenth and will require a 2-1/2" trailer hitch receiver like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15860. The best solution I have for you to get a 36" hitch extension would be to use...

  • Hitch Extension For Truck Bed Camper and 2 Horse Trailer on 2019 Chevy 3500 with 6.5 Bed
Your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 will come with the 2-1/2 inch receiver as you stated with a reducer sleeve in most cases for 2 inch accessories. If your loaded 2 horse trailer is under 6,000 lbs, then you won't need the SuperHitch. You can simply use the Reese # RP45292. And that will even expand to 8,000 lbs if you use a weight distribution system. There is a 24 inch long hitch extender that is rated for 6,000 pounds or more but you would have to install a different trailer hitch on your truck. Specifically it will need to be a Tork Lift SuperHitch Original or Magnum. These hitches are available for the 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 but not the 1500.
