Question:

TLD1104 This part number appears to be for the Ram, and not for my GMC HD3500 4WD 6-1/2 ft truck. I have the factory towing package, but would like to use the Torklift SuperTruss extender to get 37-40 inch extension when I have my truck camper on. The intended tow is a 4000 lb Jeep flat-towed with BlueOx tow bar and brake controller. Alternatively, would the Titan Hitch Box Extension for 2-1/2inch Trailer Hitches, 41inch - 48inch Long RP45292 be adequate? Im really not eager to replace my existing Torklift tie-down brackets and FastGun tie downs at the rear.

If you are wanting to use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1548 referenced in your question, you will indeed need to have a TorkLift Trailer Hitch Installed on your 2015 GMC Sierra 3500. For your truck, we do have the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLC1212 available. This dual-receiver hitch is confirmed to fit your Sierra 3500 with the 6-1/2 foot bed and has a maximum towing capacity of 17,000 pounds.

Once installed, the TorkLift SuperTruss HItch Extension # TLE1548 will work great to give you 48 inches of additional length to clear your truck camper when towing your Jeep Wrangler. This extender features a heavy-duty design, built-in hookup loops for safety chains and an electrical bracket for mounting your 7-Way connector.

The Titan Hitch Box Extension # RP45292 you also referenced is another great option as long as you have a 2-1/2 inch receiver on your Sierra 3500.
