Tow Heavy Loads Without Giving Up Cargo Space: Dual 2" Receivers for Maximum Versatility

The TorkLift SuperHitch Original packs two vertically stacked 2" x 2" receivers, so you can tow a trailer and still mount a bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. Each receiver is built to handle serious weight, offering a 17,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 1,700-lb tongue weight, or up to 20,000 lbs and 2,000 lbs when used with weight distribution. You get full towing strength without having to compromise on space for extra gear or accessories.

Keep Your Camper Setup Strong and Simple: Pre-Drilled for TorkLift Tie-Downs and SuperTruss Extensions

This hitch is designed with truck camper owners in mind. It’s pre-drilled to accept TorkLift camper tie-downs, so adding secure anchor points for a slide-in camper is straightforward. The setup also works with the TorkLift SuperTruss extensions (sold separately), which extend the hitch to clear your bed-mounted camper while keeping high towing capacity. Even with an extension up to 60", the hitch maintains one of the strongest ratings in the industry—up to a 10,000-lb weight limit when paired with a standard weight distribution system.

TorkLift SuperTruss hitch extension connected to SuperHitch receiver on a truck towing a trailer with a bed-mounted camper installed.

Built to Last Through Heavy Use: Sturdy Steel Construction with Reinforced Pin Holes

The SuperHitch is all about long-term durability. It’s made from sturdy steel with high-penetration, dual-shield welding that adds serious strength. Reinforced hitch pin holes prevent wear and elongation over time, keeping the connection tight after years of towing. A black powder coat finish resists corrosion, so whether you’re using it for work or weekend travel, this hitch is made to stay strong and look solid through it all.

Easy Bolt-On Install: Factory Fit Without Welding

This Class V hitch bolts directly into place—no welding required. It’s designed for a perfect factory-style fit and comes ready with safety chain loops plus two hitch pins and clips. That means you can get it mounted with basic tools and start towing sooner, without needing major modifications or specialized equipment.

Everything arrived exactly as ordered an on time. Haven’t had the hitch and airbags installed yet but, the info on your website was invaluable in determining what I needed to purchase to set my truck up for carrying my new pickup camper

by:

Was expecting a tore up box with hardware missing, packing was awesome, no holes in the boxes and everything was as expected. AWESOME!!

by:

Thanks Katherine everything was still in the box just installed the torklift hitch it fit perfectly thank you for your help with my order awesome customer service.

Imagine the year is 2024, the time of AI and CNC programming. What wonders the world holds!!!! Execpt....this hitch. Specifically, the included instructions. Seriously.... they look like a copy made of a fax that was transmitted with a telegraph.
I referenced the pics on e-trailer and figured the rest out. Also noteworthy is that my installation was for a truck with a utility bed, so the factory mount holes (although aligned perfectly) and no-so-detailed instructions weren't of much help any ways. Regardless, this hitch is a BEAST and worth every penny.
My ONLY recommendation would be to make the instructions, specifically the pictures, on a softer, two-ply material so at least they can serve some usefulness.

by:

Well worth getting. I have a 48” Torklift extension and with the hitch it is solid! Great piece of mind when loaded with a camper and large boat behind you.

by:

Fit very good with no issues, my wife and I installed it in a afternoon

Glad to hear it, Richard! This is a pretty beefy hitch, what are you going to be using it for? Most people use these hitches when the are carrying a truck bed camper and then towing something behind that, but it looks like you have a service body on your truck?

by:

Could not be happier with the quick service I received from etrailer and outstanding product I purchased. The install was a breeze with the easy to follow instructions and I am now able to stay wherever it is I am playing! Thanks for the great prices and good service ??

Fantastic! I towed a 3.5k lb camper + 3H trailer across Wyoming with a GMC 2500 SRW (+airbags). Had no problems running 80-85 mph with a 3 ft extension and horses in the trailer. Highly recommend the Torklift receiver to prevent sway. Tight setup!

  • Towing a 2020 Subaru Forester Behind a 2015 Chevy 3500 With a Truck Camper
Thanks for reaching out Donna. You can absolutely tow behind your 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 while carrying an in-bed truck camper. The safest way to get the additional clearance you need is with a TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension like the # TLE1528. The SuperTruss extensions require a TorkLift SuperHitch, such as # TLC1211. Unlike a standard hitch extension, the SuperTruss slides into the SuperHitch's dual receiver tubes, providing much greater support and stability for towing behind...

  • Recommended TorkLift SuperHitch And SuperTruss Hitch Extender For A 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500
Hi William, The correct TorkLift SuperHitch for your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 is going to depend on your bed length and then will be split by capacity. 6-1/2' Bed: 17k # TLC1212 20k # TLC1212-30 8' Bed: 17k # TLC1211 20k # TLC1211-30 From there you can measure to find the correct length TorkLift SuperTruss hitch extender by measuring. If the camper is mounted on the truck you'll need to measure from the face of the truck's rear bumper to the outside edge of the camper's bumper. This...

  • TorkLift 48" Extension For A 2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali With 2-1/2" Factory Receiver
To use a TorkLift 48" hitch extender you will have to change out your receiver on your 2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali. The TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension # TLE1648 will only fit the 3" receiver that comes on the Ford Super Duty trucks. To find the right TorkLift receiver that will allow you to use a 48" TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1548 you need to determine what bed length you have as well as what the maximum weight is that you would use the receiver to tow. 6-1/2' Bed...

  • Recommended Hitch Extender Approximately 3 Feet Long for 4800 lb Trailer
If you have a 2-1/2 inch receiver on your truck then you can use the Curt # C45048 which will give you 34 inches of extension and can use weight distribution to get you to towing capacity needed. To get the same 34 inches, you can also use the Reese # RP45292 which is rated for the same capacity with weight distribution. Finally, the best option for strength and durability on your 2018 Chevy 3500 is to replace your trailer hitch receiver with the dual receiver # TLC1211 for a long bed...

  • Hitch Extender for a Travel Trailer with 12,000 Gross Vehicle Weight Rating GVWR
The only hitch extender we have that will work for you is the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension. The shortest extension they offer is part # TLE1521 which measures 21" long. The issue is the weight of your trailer and 50% reduction from the adapter. In order to use the SuperTruss you will also need the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLC1212 if you have a 6-1/2' bed or part # TLC1211 if you have an 8' bed.

  • Recommended Weight Distribution & Hitch Extender to Towing a Camper and Trailer with 2015 Chevy 3500
For your situation, I cannot recommend you use a hitch extender like # ST18 and a longer weight distribution shank, but I do have a couple solutions for you. A hitch extender like # ST18, will not be able to support the weight of your trailer and weight distribution system. This extender maxes out at 700lbs TW when used with a weight distribution system which we have figured your trailer alone will have max 600-900lbs when loaded and you have to account for the weight of the system which...

  • Does 36" SuperTruss Extension Need TorkLift Hitch on 2018 GMC Sierra 3500
You will need to use the TorkLift trailer hitch on your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 in order to use the SuperTruss 36" Extension # TLE1536. The reason for that is the extension is designed to fit the dual receivers of the SuperHitch as opposed to the single receiver of the OEM hitch on your Sierra. You can also choose from a SuperHitch with dual 2" receivers or with a 2-1/2" and 2" receiver, with the extension fitting either. I'll list out the options, as there are different fits depending on...

  • 36 Inch Hitch Extender for a 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
I do have options for you but you cannot install two of part # C45796 together to get a total of 36". Doing so would completely diminish your trailer hitches weight capacity. The most cost effective solution I have for you would be to use part # RP45292 for 24"-34". However, this option is only 34" max lenth and will require a 2-1/2" trailer hitch receiver like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15860. The best solution I have for you to get a 36" hitch extension would be to use...

For a dual reciever tube opening you want to use the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers part # TLC1211 . For your 2017 GMC 2500, the service body issue isn't solved with just a hitch swap. Instead you will need a long ball mount like # BM20 or a hitch extender for the additional clearance needed. The addition of a hitch extender will reduce your hitch capacity by 50% unless you are using the Torklift Supertruss system. There is a 24 inch long hitch extender that is rated for 6,000 pounds or more but you would have to install a different trailer hitch on your truck. I confirmed this with my contact at TorkLift. For your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 Dually with the 8 foot bed the correct rear tie-downs to match the new SuperHitch is the part # TLC3216 or # TLC3216A for the aluminum version that will be resistant to corrosion.
