Features to know about

Haul More Without Compromise: Class III Strength in a 2" Receiver

This hitch gives you the muscle for everyday towing and hauling. Rated for 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 525 lbs tongue weight, it’s built to carry small campers, cargo carriers, or multi-bike racks with confidence. The 2" x 2" opening makes it compatible with the most common towing accessories, so your existing gear will fit right in.

Install It Yourself Without the Hassle: Bolt-On Design and No Welding Needed

The fully welded square-tube hitch bolts directly to the frame using included hardware—no drilling or welding required. Precision robotic welding ensures a proper fit and dependable strength, so the holes line up where they should. Whether you’re working in your driveway or have it on a lift, this is one of those installs that goes smoothly from start to finish.

Keep It Looking Clean: Concealed Main Body for a Factory Finish

The concealed cross tube design keeps most of the hitch hidden behind the bumper, leaving only the receiver visible. That means you get a clean, OEM-like look instead of bulky metal hanging below the vehicle. The gloss black powder coat finish over a protective base coat also resists rust and corrosion, keeping the hitch looking sharp through years of use.

Built to Last Through Every Trip: Durable Steel Construction Tested for Safety

This hitch is built from sturdy steel and tested in accordance with SAE J684 standards for safe towing performance. The finish is co-cured in a rust-resistant liquid A-coat inside and out, adding extra protection against road grime and moisture. It’s made for people who actually use their hitch regularly—strong enough to handle gear season after season without fading or flaking.

We just put this on the car so sorry for the late review. Dealer wanted $600 to install this hitch on my daughter’s car. My husband ended up doing it and he said it was easy and it looks awesome.

by:

Fit perfect. Curt makes a great product.

by:

All good!!!! Perfect and thanks for install recommendation.

by:

Was missing a couple hardware pieces in the kit. But emailed them, on a Sunday, and they responded within the hour and had the missing pieces in my hand by the end of the week. Customer service is outstanding.

by:

Works great for what we need. Good price

by:

Install took about an hour by myself as stated in the instructions. Everything fit perfectly.

by:

This worked out great for my bronco sport! It didn't have a spit for a hitch so we had to cut I to the bottom bumper. But it holds up well and blends in nice! We have been able to attach a tray thing to hold camping gear and it's held up with easy and no worry!

by:

Installed hitch myself with no problems. Video was extremely helpful and covered everything for straightforward installation. Hitch will be more useful than Class II Ford option.

by:

Installation was as shown in the video.
Not
tested for use yet.
Nice trim look and finish.

by:

I reviewed other products from other manufacturers and decide that this receiver would be a much easier install than the others. Boy, was I correct. Other required removal of the rear bumper facia, side fender molding, rear bumper support etc. This one required the exhaust to be removed from the hangers & trimming of the rear lower valance. Pretty straight forward install. It looks factory installed and performs as required. Good Product.

by:

I gave this only a 3 star rating because of the instructions. They were very vague and left out key steps. If we weren't mechanically minded, it would of been a disaster.
Key steps not included, removal of heat shield, no need to cut the heat shield, the purpose of removing the 4 bolts on the fascia is so you have access to move the fascia so the hitch can be placed in front of them. It's a 2 person task. The cutting of the fascia needs to be updated.
The hitch is good quality like I've always expected from Curt.

by:

E-trailer has never let us down until this order. First order kept trying to hit our account and wouldn't so we thought it was canceled. Ordered again same issue but then received email that the hitch would not arrive until Dec 2023. When it was ordered in Aug. Then first hitch showed up next day. now paying return fee and restocking fee when there was no communication other than 1 email that looked like normal email other than December delivery date. chat no one was helpful will be ordering all future hitches from amazon. Sad because I like your products but cant trust your service.

by:

Installation took 3 hours using car ramps and no help lifting the hitch into place. Bumper cover is best cut with a utility knife - cut the vertical lines and score, bend and snap the horizontal line. Bigger cutout needed than shown in the instructions. Middle hole on the frame (2021 Bronco Sport) is covered by cowling held by two snap rivets. I cut out the bolt hole with a sharp small knife and just installed the hitch over the cowling and rivets. The muffler aluminum heat shield had to be bent out of the way to force the hitch between the shield and the bumper cover. I also had to remove 4 additional screws to be able to flex the bumper cover enough to squeeze the hitch in.

by:

Works perfectly on the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport

by:

Quality and fitment are great, looks like OEM. Definitely would recommend.

by:

The shipping and quality were excellent but the technical personnel was not great.I finally figured it out myself he was disappointing. Jerry

by:

Great product. Awesome the are fisher wires were included.

Thanks so much.

by:

Esas to install all hardware included. Arrived pretty fast. Looks like it came on the car.

by:

Great receiver hitch ! Install took about 2 hours. Just slightly lower exhaust. Feed the wires through with the bolt. Line everything up. Tighten down the nuts. Bingo ! Now your ready to tow a trailer or whatever you plan on using it for.

by:

The website was very easy to navigate! Videos are great and valuable in making sure you are getting exactly what you want. Customer Service is top-notch!!

by:

Installed today no problems great install!! Made a quick hitch jack to make install easy for one person

by:

Curts products are great just as the many Ive purchased in the past. The instructions could be a bit more detailed but shout out to etrailer for the more detailed installation videos. Etrailer has the best offerings, prices and service.

by:

I have bought trailer hitches and lamp kits and have not had any problems and the support is awesome.

by:

Was supposed to fit 25 Bronco Sport and wasn't even close. Of course didn't find this out until I completely disassembled unit. We had this conversation a year ago.

Hey Gary, unfortunately the # C76HR Curt hitch isn't a fit for the '25 Bronco sport. You'll want to go with the # C68GJ instead. This hitch is a confirmed fit, I've checked with Curt to make sure.

by:

All went well was a little difficult getting receiver around the rear heat shield thought that that had to be cut out too but it does go around and behind it and did have to cut more out just like the video showed on the cover. The wiring went well to but did not run it up to battery installed a cigarette plug to plug in to the back socket when I use the hitch. I pulled the wiring threw the cargo rings for trailer lights and drill small hole for the other side for power

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation 2024 Ford Bronco Sport
Hey Davs, the hitch I would recommend for your 2024 Ford Bronco Sport would be the Curt hitch part # C76HR as it has the easiest install, best capacities, is mostly hidden, and also best priced currently. What will you be using the hitch for?

  • Does Curt Hitch # C76HR Come with Fishwire for Install Hardware
Hey Doug, yes the Curt hitch part # C76HR that you referenced does come with the needed fishwire to get the install bolts in place. You can see them in the attached picture and there are several included. What are you planning on using the hitch for?

  • What Does Trailer Hitch for 2023 Ford Bronco Sport have for Capacity
Hey Francis, so the hitch you referenced is actually for a heavy duty truck and that's why it has a higher capacity than what would make sense for your 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. So instead a hitch that does fit your vehicle like the Curt # C76HR has a 3,500 lb towing capacity and a 525 lb tongue weight capacity.

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport
To add a hitch to your 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, I recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e57KR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Bronco with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. I really like this hitch because the main crosstube mounts behind your Bronco's bumper cover. This leaves only the 2" receiver visible which not only looks better but also helps with ground clearance. I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video...

  • Comparing Curt, etrailer and Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receivers For a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport
First the only difference between our etrailer Receiver # e57KR and the Curt # C76HR is the finish. We have Curt manufacture our receiver in a matte black finish rather than their gloss finish. Personally I feel the matte finish looks better and these hitches are much easier to install than the Draw-Tite # DT93MR. The Draw-Tite will require you to remove the rear bumper fascia and impact structure which most people would find difficult. So I would recommend our etrailer Receiver # e57KR...

For a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C76HR. I've attached a short video below where the Shane will walk you through the process. If you plan on towing a trailer then you'll also need at minimum a 4-pole wiring harness. Looking at the installation video and pictures we have, the fascia appears to be properly trimmed with the receiver fitting nicely in the center.
