this hitch was badly bent-2nd bent one this year- Had to use a a motor puller to bend back-was bent an inch and a half in-Now, I do this for a living, but someone else would have thought they were doing something wrong- I spent 40 minutes trying to install before I took down and measured front to back-1 1/2" off- I bought 2 of these-both were hanging out of holes in box-1st one worked-second one is installed but, I doubt a retail customer would have figured this out
The customer service and delivery of product has been great.
I think you need to box them better for shipment. The boxes are always broken and parts protrude from the box. It's kind of dangerous. Can't you attach the hitch to a carboard panel before you put it into a box? It would keep it from sliding around and braking the box.

I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you. I recommend touching up the affected areas with a rust resistant paint which you will then have on hand for regular hitch maintenance.

Solidly made and very well finished. The hitch remains in great shape after a year's use.
They are not packaged well for shipping. Always come in with broken boxes.

The hitch receiver fits perfectly, is very sound and we have had no issues with it after over a year in place. And etrailer delivered it a day or two before promised.
After two futile attempts with other brands to find the exact fit hitch for my 2021 Nissan Rogue SV, the Curt was perfect. The receiver end recesses a couple of inches behind the bottom of the rear bumper, and does not stick out to cause "shin bumps." The only thing that I would have liked is for eTrailer to have included a Curt receiver cover with my purchase.
This is my third purchase from etrailer.com. There is never an issue or problem. The website is top notch and the support is excellent.

Just fine. Very happy.This is my third hitch purchase from etrailer, and each time was easy and a snap to install. Always a perfect fit, just as advertized.
I was a bit concerned when the box arrived. The hitch had broken thru the box. It was heavy cardboard, but not the best packaging..... it did break thru, but let’s face it, it is a big beasty metal hitch. When I went to install, it was a breeze, a socket set is all that is needed. On the driver side I undid the exhaust to get the hitch in place. I raised the unit with my hands, and used my feet on the far side. One bolt in, over to the other side 2 bolts in, tighten all four, completed the job in 15 minutes. (The bolts and instructions are wrapped around the tongue. This is redunculously easy!
Does what it was said to do. Bought it for my bike rack but later bought a Kayak trailer. It was easy to to use with a trailer ball. Lauren did a really great job in making sure I got the right hitch.
Received the Curt trailer hitch yesterday. Installed it with no issues, took about 20 minutes and works great!!! No issues, highly recommend the product.

Working great, looks great on the 2023 nissan rogue and no issues with the paint failing, still like new! Highly recommend the trailer hitch!
Overall a nice hitch. It does still require modification to the muffler heat shield to prevent rattling. I had hoped this would have been better accounted for in the hitch design.
This hitch is excellent. Installed it in 25 minutes. You need to make sure that you slide both sides up simultaneously to fit it on the chassis. A rubber mallet is useful to tap into alignment for the bolts. Highly recommend.
The hitch itself seems solidly built and of good quality. The installation instructions were very clear as i had installed it by myself in about 25 minutes. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the very poor packaging. It arrived with part of it sticking outside the box along with other punctures in the carboard. The finish was scratched in 2 places because of this. They need to find a better way of packaging this to protect it during shipment.
Nicole T. Thank you for your help ordering this hitch receiver. I received it in 2 days no problem. Had it installed and it looks great. Had to have an adapter put on to use it with my 2" Thule bike rake. Was not happy to find out that NO ONE makes a 2" receiver for my Nissan Rogue YET.
