When you’re ready to haul, this Curt Class IV trailer hitch receiver gives you the muscle to do it right. With a 10,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 1,000 lbs maximum tongue weight, you’ve got serious capacity. Add a weight distribution setup and those numbers climb to 12,000 lbs GTW and 1,200 lbs TW. The 2" x 2" receiver opening fits standard towing and accessory gear, making it easy to switch between your trailer, bike rack, or cargo carrier.
You don’t need a shop or special tools to put this hitch on. The fully welded design bolts straight to the frame with included hardware, no welding or fabrication needed. Precision robotic welding ensures everything lines up right where it should, so you can get it installed in your driveway with confidence and move on to hauling.
This sturdy square-tube hitch is made from powder-coated steel that’s tough and corrosion resistant. A gloss black powder coat layered over a protective base coat keeps rust away and helps the hitch blend in under the bumper. It’s the kind of finish that stays looking good after miles of towing or carrying gear through all kinds of weather.

easy install on a 2013 GMC Sierra , this hitch came with the bolts and installed in about 20 minutes. Price was good and fast delivery was nice .

This hitch is of better quality than my OEM dealer hitch I replaced. I installed this on my 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 truck. The construction and material seems to provide a sturdier platform. It is heavier than my original and that is due to the metal material of the hitch. Would recommend this hitch.
This Kurt hitch does not fit Silverado 1500 series with the 6 1/2 foot bed. Although you can’t make it fit by drilling a couple of holes in the frame, which is what I did. Kurt should add drain holes at the bottom of the cross tube so that thing doesn’t rust out like my last one did…
Good hitch, well built. Ordered this and installed on my 2013 Silverado 1500. When ordering, I seen where another review had installed on their Sierra 1500, there is also a Q&A that confirms this hitch fits the 1500…. YOU WILL HAVE TO DRILL NEW HOLES IN FRAME. Besides that hiccup, no issues!
