As advertised. I installed the Curt trailer hitch recevier in about fortfive minutes. I would call it more of a plug and play system. Had no problems at all. It looks great and perform great.

The hitch for my Infiniti was eventually a perfect fit. There were some bumper clamps that made it difficult to install at first. I had to bend them back and then it fit nicely. I just didn’t see those issues being raised in the videos I watched. The 13188 hitch was a perfect match; the SUV just had some issues to be resolved. Thank you.
Can't quite give a 'good' rating. The hitch fit the bolt holes on my 2008 Nissan Armada just fine BUT with the newer style bumper (verses the 2005 they show in the video) it doesn't quite fit. I was able to muscle it in place and the result looks good, but the fact is that the hitch is pressing the bumper mounting brackets (and hence the bumper) out at least 1/2".
The trailer hitch installation went flawlessly and was a perfect fit....trailer wiring kit was the same....the entire installation took less then 45 minutes !!!!
I have a 2008 Infiniti
QX 56 and this hitch mount fit it perfectly. Item number 13188. I also got the C55774 Curt T wiring harness connector and it worked perfectly also.
This was very easy to install. It looks just like the video tutorials on etrailer's website. Came on time and in perfect condition. I would highly recommend shopping here! I used the hitch to tow my camper and the height was perfect as described in the video.
It didn't seem to want to fit on my 2010 Nissan Armada. I called Etrailer.com. Tommy at Etrailer.com did some research and called me back pretty quickly. He said he was told that the hitch definitely fits but had to be muscled into position because it sits really tightly against the car bumper. Getting some help and using a little muscled it was installed in about 10 minutes. Looks great and works great.
I think this "custom fit" product should be designed to fot the vehicle better. The install was simple and the bolt hole lined up well, but the center section of my back bumper is pushed upward by the hitch receiver. I am not willing to remove the piece and make it look terrible so it will just have to remain deformed. As far as etrailer.com is concerned, the service was excellent, the price was good, communication couldn't have been better and the shipping was fast. I would definitely recommend this company.
Installed on 2013 Armada. Lined up great, completely hidden behind the bumper. Easy install.
The Curt receiver was a perfect fit for my 2006 Armada. Installation was straight forward with 6 bolts and the washers to bolt to the frame. It took about a week to receive my order. I also ordered the wiring harness that has the double connector, 7 blade and flat 4 pin connector. Installed receiver and harness in about 1.5 hours. Everything was a perfect match.
Hitch receiver was very easy to install and took approximately 45 minutes overall. The fit was precise and only required some assistance to hold it up while running the bolts in. It would have been nice to know that there is a welded nut inside the receiver that allows the lock bolt to be threaded in to prevent vibration and wobbling of any attachment in the receiver. It is not something you look for, but after finding it, I was delighted that a potential problem was averted. That's the only complaint with the set up and it was very minor.

Still appreciate the value of this item. Money saved by taking our bikes on vacation instead of renting has more than paid for this receiver and the bike rack bought with it.

Great hitch! I actually pulled a utility trailer for the first time a week ago. I rented a utility trailer from Lowes because I wanted to pickup up lawnmower rider.
I'm happy whit this Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver looks great strong,bold ,neat I definitely like it a lot I'm planing to use in my trip to Yosemite National Park I will up date my review on the future
Easy to install, took me about an hour for the hitch and plug just using hand tools. Works great. I would have liked to have the chance to buy everything I needed as a bundle instead of 3 different purchases. I have an 07 Armada and to activate the trailer plug you need to buy the 3 relays. So had to get those a couple days latter and pay more for shipping because I needed my lights to work ASAP. Over all very happy with my purchase saved me over $300 to do it myself.
This is a well built trailer hitch. All of the holes lined up perfectly. It was a very snug fit behind the bumper so it took a little extra muscle to get it place on my 2011 Armada. This trailer hitch looks great on my SUV.
Easy ordering, arrived in good condition. The hitch was secured to the side of the box and not flopping around. The hardware was tucked into the receiver and the plug I also ordered was attached to the hitch so it wouldn’t flop around. Packaged very well, many companies could learn from etrailer. Install was super easy, hardest part was drilling out the 7 rivets that held a small plastic cover on the lower edge of my bumper.
Arrived a few days after I ordered. Fit perfectly on my 2008 QX56. All 6 bolt holes lined up perfectly. low profile, looks stock. To top it off a great price and free shipping. very satisfied customer

The hitch has been in use for a year now. I added it to a Nissan Armada that didnt come with the tow package. The hitch works great. I have towed with it many times and have never had any issues. It was a great addition to my vehicle.
