Question:
Thank you for the very detailed information. My armada came with the tow package including the 7 way connector, so it seems I won’t need the hitch receiver, not the parts to make it a 7 way. So it seems that I would still need the a Brake controller and the #3050-P, along with the flex weight distribution system. I still have one more question, since the Armada has the brake controller, does it still need the brake controller? It would seem that is part of the package. One more thing... not sure why, but I wrote the question I mentioned Armada 2013, when it really is 2008. Does anything change giving the model year?

For your 2013 Nissan Armada, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13188. This will be able to tow your trailer with 1 horse without weight distribution, but you will most likely need the weight distribution system for 2 or 3 horses. It will also help with sway control, so I would use it no matter the number of horses.
For your wiring, if you don't have the factory 7 way, I recommend the Vehicle Wiring Harness Kit with 4 Pole Trailer Connector # C59236 along with the # ETBC7 to give you the 7-way functions. For your brake controller, I recommend the Prodigy P3 # 90195. This can install with # 3050-P if you have the factory 7-way, or it can be hardwired with the # ETBC7 kit mentioned earlier if you don't have the factory 7-way.
For your weight distribution system, I recommend the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # RP66559 which will account for all the different weight capacities. It will need to be installed by drilling through the frame or cutting into the tongue cover to allow the brackets to install. Personally, I'd keep the clean look and drill through the frame. You will also need hitch ball # 19286 for this application. The Blue Ox Sway Pro # BXW1006 won't allow for the lighter weight of the clean application of the brackets.
Let me know if you have further questions.
