Today were going to review part number HP344G. This is the Redline -inch diameter greasable hinge pin. This hinge pin is designed to be welded to either the outer from of the trailer or the gate and door of the trailer, and then it is inserted into a hinge pin nipple to create a custom heavy duty hinge. Greasable pins featured this grease zerk fitting on the end for lubrication. In other words, when you hook the grease gun up to the zerk fitting and pump in the grease, this hole here will allow it to come out and lubricate this section here which will be inserted into a hinge pin nipple. This part is great for building your own hinge.
Its also great for trailers in agriculture applications. A few measurements on this; the length is 4 inches, the base diameter is going to be 1 inch and the diameter that slides inside the hinge pin nipple is going to be 0.75 or of an inch. Now the part number for the hinge pin nipple that is normally used with this hinge pin would be HPN342 and that is this part right here which is sold separately. In other words, the hinge pin would insert right into this nipple and when you pump it with grease it would lubricate the connection. That should do it for review on part number HP344G..
