Question:
I am building a tilt up trailer ramp/gate that could potentially haul my 4500lb truck would 2 of these hinges work? The gate will be 88inx48in all 2in tube as well as angle

According to Redline, the # HP344G hinges don't carry a weight rating, but if Installed correctly, I can't see the hinges being the weak link. The strength of your ramp will be contingent on how it's constructed and the quality of the welds fastening the hinges to the trailer and tailgate.
