Slam latch is ideal for doors on trailers or sheds that you need to get into and out of quickly. Spring-loaded pin with angled tip automatically retracts and springs into a keeper when you slam the door shut. Stainless steel resists corrosion.

The stainless steel slam latch is just what we needed for our project, (a prototype latch mechanism for securing a deck hatch on a boat.) The stainless slam latch itself is good quality as advertised, and performs better than expected and is perfect for our needs. If our prototype is approved we will need almost 100 more for all the boats in the company and will order them from etrailer as the price was the best found. Shipping took a couple days longer than we had hoped. Fortunately, this time we were not in a hurry to receive it so it wasn't a big problem, just a couple days delay in our process. If we do a larger order for our entire company, we hope to work out faster shipping with etrailer.
Been using this almost every day for a year still works as new. Highly recommend this product.

These were exactly what i was looking for. They are heavy duty and work great! I used them on tool drawers in the bed of my truck. They are raw metal so can rust is not finished.
